Pleased with this purchase
The fingerlings arrived well packaged and promptly. All in excellent condition. They were absolutely delicious. I will order from this company again.

Look like supermarket potatoes
These don’t have eyes that look like they’ve been developed into seed potatoes. They look exactly like seller bought them at a grocery store and stuck them in a box to ship. In addition, there is extremely thin skin on these that have broken. And there are some spots that are suspicious of disease. I would not recommend.

Eat them and grow them
These were both delicious and prolific. I had to wait till now to say that. I enjoyed eating half of these early this year. Cut them in half, drop them in some hot peanut oil, sprinkle with a little sea salt. But, and next year I will do better, plant a few. I planted 6 this year. I now have about 12 very small potatoes. I should have left them for later but I was too tempted to see what I had. Raised these in bales of wheat straw. Small but mine. Believe me, if I could grow these here, I would enjoy them every day.

Absolutely to die for
We live part time in Seattle where we could find these in season at Pikes Street Market but imagine our happy shock to find them for sale on Amazon after we came home to Oklahoma. Our favorite is the Russian banana fingerling which has a distinct buttery savor which will instantly cause you to forget the ordinary potato. Our order consisted of 3# of 3 different varieties which we quickly sorted into their types and cooked at various meals to compliment our dishes. Fast shipping and the product is fresh and delicious! Highly recommend.

Tasty fingerling potatoes
Fingerling potatoes have become a nice part of our family diet. One local grocery store carried them, and I purchased them at that store as needed. Regrettably, a short time ago, they discontinued carrying the item, and I can't find the fingerlings at any other nearby store. So, I checked Amazon.com and found Melissa's fingerling potatoes. They arrived in good order, with no delay. There are several varieties and colors of potatoes here, all small. One dish that we use them for is a quinoa potato dish. Boil quinoa and potatoes for a bit. Then put them in the oven in a roasting pan and cover with shredded cheddar cheese, roast for a bit, and then eat the dish. Believe it or not, a tasty quinoa dish! The potatoes, of course, can be eaten any other way one would wish. The one issue that I had was that the black potatoes had little sprouts beginning to emerge (not a great thing), but it was not a real problem.I am a satisfied customer and as long as the local grocery stores don't stock the mixed fingerlings, I'll continue to purchase Melissa's.

Bought for planting, great condition and easy to sort into cultivars
Arrived with each lot split into two smaller bags, but otherwise as advertised and appeared to be fresh / in great condition. I bought these as seed potatoes because we don't get much good produce around these parts, and they were easy to separate out into different cultivars based on appearance. I planted them almost immediately and even though I planted them in late Autumn, replanting them from our Pyrenees "treasure hunt" last week I noticed they were still healthy and already putting out roots.Much less expensive than seed potatoes of four cultivars anywhere else, and we always get much higher yields from fingerlings. Thanks for providing these at relatively low expense to gardeners who live in rural areas with limited selections at our grocery stores!
