A Good Value TV
Nice to find a TV being made in Britain once more, this has all the usual features for a TV at this price, looks well built, the only fault I can throw at it is, it does take a long time to scan for channels on initial set up.Other reviewers have commented on the poor sound quality from this set , well this certainly isn't my view I find it perfectly adequate, no TV's with in built speakers are ever ideal due to the speaker being buried within the set itself, get a sound bar if you are after improved sound quality and even then get a good one because some of them sound worse than some TV speaker's on their own. From my findings I would recommend this set.

Great picture but disappointing sound quality
Really like the design and picture quality. It was easy to set up and install but despite trying all the various sound settings cannot get a clear sound without it sounding muffled or as if underwater. Contacted Amazon who agreed to exchange it.

TV Fiasco.
I didnt like the fact my first order of tv came Broken and it took ages to find a contact number so I could tell you ..and when I finally did The guy on end of phone was very helpfull and arranged for a new one to be delivered and broken one taken back so thankyou that man, but my other gripe is I recieved my phone bill yesterday and found out it cost me £30 for the phone call which I think is shocking as Im a pensioner and can ill afford my bill as it is so cheers for that...apart from that my second tv is working fine. As for phone bill ??? I will just have to give up a day or twos heating in house to use heating money on phone bill.

Great Purchase
Really pleased with my purchase. Really clear picture. Sound quality is superb. As daft as it sounds it seems bigger than it's size. Would certainly recommend it

Not value for money, better and cheaper models available.
Sound quality is very poor, had to use a sound bar for good audible reproduction. Picture quality reasonable after using manual adjustments. Would not buy again.

Caveat Emptor
The picture quality on this TV is very good, the sound is reminiscent of a 1960's transistor radio being played in the shower, and is extremely harsh and painful to the ears. It is fairly easy to set up but geared to Freeview, which means to get it to default to SCART (for my Sky Box) or any other source you have to set it to Hotel Mode and input a password every time you switch on, plus as I can't set-up for Freeview (no signal), every time I switch on I have to exit the Freeview set-up. My previous TV identifeid the SCART/Sky input and used it thereafter. There is no proper manual and none on the website cited - you have to use teh manual for the Cello equivalent model, and it doesn't tell you much. Astonishingly the picture ratio is set to that for old cathode ray TV's, so you have black stripes down both sides and a warning that this may burn out that area of screen, so you have to fiddle around setting it to full-screen. Even so, I could have lived with all that except the sound, which a TV engineer friend kindly confirms is defective.I noted a review from another customer, just a couple of weeks ago, with the same problem, and he was offered a replacement. I wasn't, I was told to send it back and I have to find and pay a carrier myself, and Amazon will refund less than a fiver carriage, and more to the point, LESS than the carriage I paid for one-day delivery that took two days and only after I made a fuss as the delivery date went out from up to 2 days to 3 days between check-out and confirmation less than a minute later.Given that Amazon delivered the TV to me I am at a loss as to why they can't collect it and return it, especially as it is defective. I will have to check with Trading Standards, but it is my understanding that vendor is required to pay reasonable return carriage on defective goods, and less than a fiver is NOT reasonable for a one-off send of 17.5 kilos to Scotland from Devon, as evidenced by the refund being less than their own delivery service charged for the same item. Parcel Force, fro example, charge nearly £30 for that weight within the UK.I will not be buying another TV from Amazon, or indeed any other large item that might need returning. I can get a nice set, same size, Smart, Dolby sound, for £20 more from a reasonably local source and if there are problems I can just take it back for a refund.
