A nice improvement to original Hydrospex, but you need some patience when it comes to finding the right fit
I had the previous generation Hydrospex for a few years and ended up having to replace them due to an issue with one of cups. I got the clear HydrospeX2.The amazing thing about these goggles is how clearly I could see in the water right away. The previous generation of Hydrospex that I had deteriorated over time to the point that I could hardly see through them. This version, however, works really well and I won't be bumping into any walls anymore! The only downside is that I've had a hard time finding the right fit for me. Initially I was getting leaks on the side after just a couple of laps. Now, after a few weeks, I feel like I have found the right adjustment (and the rubber has properly adjusted to my face a little better). However, I find that I still need to be very careful. The adjustment system is nice, actually, but it's not particularly superior to the old "low tech" system. I also wish that I could simply transfer my old Hydrospex strap - a nice bright yellow, as opposed to the boring white that comes with the clear Hydrospex2.

these goggles are very good. VISIBILITY & ANTI-FOG
For the price, these goggles are very good.VISIBILITY & ANTI-FOG: They are described with "Anti Fox Max treatment" which works, but not perfectly. The goggles don't fog up when I am underwater, which is what I appreciate very much, but when I am out of the water and pull the lenses away from my eyes and rest them on my forehead, they cloud up pretty quickly. Using these goggles in the indoor pool at my gym makes everything darker than I prefer, but outdoors that is really helpful against bright sunlight.STRAP: The strap is easily tightened, but can loosen one or two notches when I kick off the wall underwater. Once or twice this has caused water to leak into the goggles' lenses, filling it up so that one of my eyes is water-blinded.DURABILITY: The goggles haven't incurred scratches or dents during my usage. The strap hasn't cracked or torn. I feel like--especially for the price--these will last long enough to be well worth the cost..

Good quality goggle that stays fog free for many week's of usage.
I've had several pairs of these over the last few years. They are very clear and of all the goggles I have owned, they seem to stay fog free longer than any others. They are comfortable if you don't make them too tight. The only small I issue I have with Hydrospex2 goggles is that the adjustment for how tight they are does not seem to stay in place after you take them off. So, I often have to tighten them before next use, or they will leak. While I am swimming, they retain the tightness, so it's only a minor issue. I do find that with this latest pair on one side the clip that holds the strap end from flapping is loose, so the strap gets free about once per swim. I have not had this problem with any other Hydrospex2 goggles that I have owned (this is my third pair).

Very high quality
I was hesitant to buy this product because there are not many reviews out there. At first I was going for another brand, but after having a chat with a swimmer friend he said: "Go for speedo, you can't go wrong".I decided to trust him and picked this pair out; no reviews but... personal reference was enough.I have been using them for over a month on a daily basis and I can say that:-Water has never reached my eyes, I am even considering taking my contacts on to the pull since these are so good.-They aren't showing any sign of degradation or losing color.-They are tight but don't feel to unconfortable-Cool designThe users who complain about they "loosening" must have no idea how to use a pair of googles, setting them up takes 5min the first time and 2 secs from then on.Cons:-Might be to tight for some peopleSo, I highly recommend this. Don't go by the idea that these don't have 200 positive reviews.

Very comfortable
I swim outdoors in the daylight mostly, so I've switched from these to the mirrored version of the same model. Now on my third pair. I have a smaller head and kinda deep sockets making it hard to find comfy goggles, but these softly seal very well. Be sure to follow instructions re. the anti-fog coating. On the other hand, I find that giving them a quick lick and a rinse before swimming works best. Bought the last pair 18 months ago and used them for two months before putting them away for a year before using them for two more months. They are still comfy & showing no signs of failure. I think it helps to rinse them thoroughly after use. Great for evening swims. They turn green when I use them in a chlorine pool.

Great goggles with no fogging issues
I had originally owned a pair of Aquasphere goggles, and Speedo HydrospeX2 are definitely my preferred choice. The issue I had with Aquasphere was simply that it fogged up almost immediately I put them on. The HydrospeX2 had no issue with fogging and the fit is very comfortable as well. I wish the side adjusters were more stable as they sometimes slip when I pull it too far, but overall great goggles.

Speedo's Are The Best!!
I started taking swimming lessons and need a great pair of googles, of course I did my homework and found out Speedo is the best brand to purchase.. As a beginner, I wanted a pair of goggles that wouldn't easily break or the suction was loose and water would get in my eyes.. I haven't had a problem with these Speedo goggles yet and its help me advance with my lessons because that is one less thing I have to worry about in the water.

Functionally it works fine. However
Functionally it works fine. However, if you swim in the sun, the dark glasses will completely screen the area around your eyes from tanning. When the rest of your face deepens in color, you will gradually have prominent round white areas around each eye. I got this result swimming laps at midday in an outdoor pool. Looks funny. So I only use this pair indoors or outdoors in evening.

One Star
No matter how hard I tried, water comes in from one eye after about 15 m in water.
