no, not a flat bed and can't scan from a book-- it is a page scanner-- pages have to go through the ADF one at a time

Will this scanner be compatible with the new Mac operating system coming out in fall 2019?

I’m unsure what the compatibility is at the moment. This is a great company though and they’ve already emailed letting them know that some sort of update will be needed and they’re working on it.
