Better than factory
I recently purchased a 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500HD LZT z71. I immediately began making it “my” truck. Part of the transformation was the installation of these rear wheel well liners. The first thing I learned was my truck came with factory rear wheel well liners. The factory liners were coated plastic and were more “rough” than these, which are not coated. These are smoother plastic. So the first thing you have to do is determine whether your truck already has liners, and if so whether you want to remove and replace those. If your truck does not have rear wheel well liners I recommend these. These liners will not fit over the factory liners. Once the factory liners are removed, or first if your truck does not have factory lines, you need to jack up the truck and remove the rear wheel. You do not have to do this, but it makes the job a lot easier. You then insert the liner into the wheel well and wrestle it up into place. It takes a little effort but not too much. It is much easier with the wheel removed. These liners are not held in with as many screws as the factory liner. The holes lined up very easily. But be aware, the factory HOLE near the frame that goes up in the middle, and in which you are supposed to insert a “christmas tree” insert to hold the middle of the liner up, IS TOO SMALL! You need to drill the factory hole out in order to insert the “christmas tree” through the hole in the liner and the factory hole in the frame. Why buy these liners, especially if your truck already has factory liners? These cover the ugly inner wheel well and keep water and dirt from getting on everything in the wheel well. These liners cover a little more of the frame than the factory liners do. These liners are easier to wash and keep clean than the factory liners. And after the removal of the factory liners I can attest that the wheel well above the liner looks fairly clean. The factory liner did not seem to “trap dirt” and promote rust in the truck's body above the liner as one might expect. If your truck already has factory rear wheel well liners I don’t know that I would rush out to buy these. But if your truck does not have liners like these I think they would be a good investment.

Much better and more frame coverage than manufacturer wheel liners
I wanted to replace the factory wheel well liners, which don't cover all the frame rails, leaving an ugly look to the truck. These liners were exactly what I needed. They drape lower than the stock ones, covering up the ugly frame rails. These liners are hard plastic material, but flexible enough to install them with the tires still on. All but one of the new liners' holes lined up perfectly with the factory screw holes from the old liners, so I was able to reuse most of the screws. The new liners fit very snugly and exact into the wheel wells, and the holes line up perfectly, even the holes for the "rock guard" plastic piece in front of the tire. You'll need a Torx T15, and a ratchet would help, as getting to some of the factory screws with a torx screwdriver would be difficult (unless you remove the tires first, which I did not do). Note: I ended up with 6 screws per side extra, but that's probably ok since I think GM over-engineered the factory liners. If you don't have factory-installed liners, you'll just use the included christmas tree plug fasteners instead of screws (I assume the vehicle holes would still line up with the liner holes in that case). The one flaw is that there is a "new" hole, which the instructions tell you to insert one of the included christmas tree fasteners, but the hole in the frame is too small for the fasteners. I'll probably just to go the hardware store and find a fastener plug that's a small diameter.Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of this product, with the relative ease of installing and how they look on the truck. It took me exactly 1 hour to replace the stock liners, from the time I walked out my front door, to when I walked back in for a shower, including prep and clean up/putting tools away.

Great looking piece of plastic!
Had some work done on my truck and was going to have these installed. Body shop said not even close to fitting. Well once home, I removed the rear wheels and slammed them home in their place. Had to trim the rear with a knife to sit flush, but no biggie. Fits like a dream now.

Difficult to install.
The molded material of the fender liners was very thin in areas, and flimsy. None the less, they went into place without problems but most of the mounting holes did not match up with the existing holes on mt 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500. In order to mount them securely, I had to remove the wheels and drill new holes in my truck to match the holes in the liners. In all, only three holes in the liners could be used without modifications.

Easy to install rear wheel liners, no tire removal needed!
Perfectly fit my 2017 Silverado LS! This model doesn't come factory with rear wheel liners and these ones fit perfectly and look amazing. You cannot tell the difference between these polymer wheel covers vs the front felt covers unless you are extremely close. It comes with christmas tree retainers that worked great. I made sure to clean and put an undercoating behind these covers before installation. I did not have to take my tires off, P275/55R20, they just fit right over them with a slight bend and manovering, nothing too complicated, expect to remove bigger tires. Highly recommend these!
