I bought a set of these wall lamp shades in beige. They look better than the expensive ones I was considering. They are well made and go very well with my matt black cast iron wall lights. The shades are long enough to cover the candle bulbs, so there is no nasty glare. During the day, the shades just blend into the wall (which is painted a light beige / grey). At night they give a soft warm light and the grain of the fabric shows up and looks attractive like an expensive linen. I am very pleased with them and I think they were a bargain price.

this was a game changer. We hated the light the chandelier gave and in a last resort tried these and now we like the light in the room and happily put it on. it dims in a soft way the light so no more dentist light in your eyes!

Despite the photo these aren't white. They are a slightly beige-y, cream and kind of a natural linen colour.The product construction is fine though, arrived quickly and was well packed.I have used them anyway as they are not totally inappropriate for the intended purpose. Hence a Three star.
