Good quality. My autistic grandson LOVES them.He knows every planet.

Really big...I love them. Stuck on my car and it made people so happy! They are well made with nice detail. The sun, the biggest one, sadly had a small bend which may have been why it didnt stay on my car going down the freeway. Also, Pluto for some reason had some numbers printed out on it that distracted from the details on the planet. Great value though and they look great. Would be great for classroom.

Vibrant colors and large size

I purchased these for use in my prekindergarten class for a two week unit on The Sky and Weather. The children loved being able to place the planets around the sun and used pictures from books about the planets to recreate the order of planets from the sun. I was concerned that the magnets would get broken with some of the rough exploration, but they lasted in almost new condition while I had them available to the children all day everyday for ten days on our metal wall. The activity was a hit and the children were able to identify the planets because they looked the same as the pictures in multiple books. The children also worked on their cooperation and patience as they waited for a turn or worked with others to get the planets in order.

I got this set for my 18 month daughter. She is very much fascinated by the moon, stars and the sun. I thought this will be a good educational set for her to expand on. The items are like magnetic stickers which we have put on our fridge. The scale is pretty good with Sun larger than planets and Jupiter bigger than the other planets and so on. Also as a bonus they have added the asteroid belt, Moon and Pluto to the set. Most of the graphics are good except that Mercury, Moon and Pluto seem a little similar. That causes a great deal of confusion for her and that is the reason for the 4 stars I gave this product. Besides that I would recommend it to anyone who wants to use it as an educational tool for young kids.

These magnetic planets are much bigger than I anticipated but they still worked out for the idea I had. I bought these for garland decoration for my son's new bedroom theme(space). They worked well,I justhole punched through them then strung them together and it worked perfectly!I know some people said thier pluto or other planets had writing on them but mine did not thankfully. Great product.

I bought this for my 3 year old, autistic, nephew. Anyone who knows someone who has autism knows that they have an almost obsessive interest in certain subjects. The planets/solar system is one my nephews intense interests. He loves these magnetic planets and will line them up in the correct order according to their proximity to the sun. He was slightly disappointed that there were no dwarf planets (except Pluto, of course) or moons (Earth's moon is included), as he knew immediately that they were not there, letting us know by stating, "Eris missing! Phobos missing!". Otherwise he loves these magnetic marvels. The details on the pictures are quite good, taken from actual images from space, nothing cartoonish about them. I recommend this for any kid interested in learning about the planets in our solar system.

Missing a planet in the set

My son loves planets and needed a toy that realistically looks like the planets. 1. The picture of the planets is very realistic and looks like a photogragh 2. The magnet is extremely thin but it looks like it can withstand wear and tear. Since the product was imported, it was very expensive. I see no reason why local manufacturers in India can't make something similar and price it around 1200 rupees or less.
