Highly recommended
This is an incredibly useful little gadget. Great features, well designed interface, bright clear screen, fit and finish feel top notch. I like the option to display units as feet, inches, fractional ( ex. It will read 10' 8 3/8") and that it remembers the unit setting when turned off. Very smart. For the price it's a super value! I can't imagine how the name brand models could be any better, not even considering they cost 3-4x the price. Buy this one, you'll be very pleased. The only unknown is the life of the built in LiPo battery, it doesn't seem like it would be easy to crack it open to replace. Time will tell, but I imagine it's good for several years.

Easy to use and it works in meters and feet.
Excellent price, very handy and easy to use. I checked its accuracy in short distances with a manual meter and it is pretty much exact with its length, also very good that it gives area and volume which saves lots of time doing calculations. Very happy with it and it has been used often.

High Accuracy, Best for Low-Light Situations
This is an incredible computer packed into a small form factor. Let's talk about the benefits first:1. Compact and lightweight, easy to carry around2. Impeccably accurate measurements (confirmed with tape measures)3. Advanced Functions (e.g. addition/subtraction, area/volume measurements, memory, etc.)4. Can measure long distances (my tape measure maxes out at 25', but not this device)Now let's talk about the minor inconveniences:1. There are a lot of options. So much so that you will want to keep the manual.- You can take measurements from the front, middle, or back of the device. Make sure that you've selected the right option or you can get inaccurate measurements by ~4" - but that's just user error if you do2. I've had minor issues in very bright situations with the measurements returning as ERR. But I measured my fence in linear feet during a partly cloudy day and had no problems at all (with individual runs being over 80'). Not sure if I did something wrong or if it's a limitation of the device. All in all, I can't believe that I didn't own this device until now. Once you get acclimated to the features, it's an absolute breeze to use and couldn't be more accurate.

Very good
This seems to do everything I need from a laser measure and much cheaper than the name brands. The trig functions are useful took me a while to actually figure out how to use and they seem slightly less accurate. It seems the laser measure is accurate, and I use the inclinometer when I need to tilt something to a very specific angle.

1. can measure slope 2. actually can measure 341'.
I test this Huepar 100a at night. I could read a STOP sign at 341' away. I did not check for accuracy. The laser reflection from the STOP sign is very intense, I guess if the manufacturer's internal software did not block the machine from measuring the distance greater than 341', the could easily measure 3 times of 341'. I made this conclusion by measuring a reflecting wall at 328' away, the laser reflection is vey weak, yet this Huepar 100A detected the signal. I strongly tecommend buying this this Huepar 100a or Huepar 120a, for the price and capability. I did not verify the accuracy, I have not better tool to do this. Another good thing is this machine could measure the slope of a road or terrain, which I use to estimate the slope, for the purpose of land development and road design.

Good deal
Rechargeable, works good. Its not the most accurate one on the market still good for doing estimates. The measurement is within 1/16th fairly often other times it can be almost 3/16th off. The bult in angle finder is convenient, several different modes. I would recommend this product as one of the cheapest options

I like the fact that the unit is rechargeable.
I am a photographer, and I thought that it would be a good idea to check distances with my lighting , and to my subjects (without pulling out a great big tape measure). I haven’t had a chance to really put it through it’s paces yet, but I did play with it when it first arrived. Set up was pretty easy...I think the biggest problem I had was going from metric to standard. The one thing that I really like about this laser distance measure is that it is rechargeable. It will be so much easier not having to bring extra batteries for it when I go out for a shoot. And, it is easier to just plug it into a USB port than to open up the unit, take out your reachable batteries, put the batteries in a charger, plugging the charger in, waiting, and then reversing the process. All in all, it is a good unit for the price.

Not good during the day.
Accurate inside, not so much outside during the day. Also there is little point in having something that measures 330ft with no sight. Laser is very dim outside during daytime and next to impossible to see past 30 ft.
