A collection of my best Gemstone Faceting Designs Volume 1

Just received my copy today, haven't had a chance to facet any of the designs yet, but have selected several to cut.All of his designs focus on materials that have an R.I. (refractive index) between 1.54 to 2.16, which he shows alongside of the design instructions with gem rendering images of 1 of 3 specific R.I.'sAndrew's frosted designs really caught my eye, as I love to cut frosted designs. Looking forward to the next volume of his designs.If you are a faceter and enjoy new designs to cut for yourself or clients, I think you'll find this design book a good reference material to have in your library.

you can tell how much time and effort went into both Volume 1 and 2! I own pretty much every faceting book there is, and this is on the top shelf with Jeff Graham and Glenn Vargas!!!

Tremendous and valuable information in this book. Great!

When is the next book coming out. I have cut three stones. The only thing is some of the angles are in one hundredth of a degree.

A great collection of fairly advanced faceting patterns. Intermediate level and higher. Fun and worth the money.

I have the set of these books I love the designs but they are for the newer machines with 0.1 values it would be great to see one for the older machines! Otherwise it be a 5 star.
