I've heard some of these locking nuts tend to rust after a while... anybody on here had theirs for a bit or live near the ocean that can comment ?

I've had mine on my third car for nearly thirty years and driven the car in ice and snow and on the sea coast. There are a few traces of discoloration in the contact areas where the key fits, but the chrome is still intact. Other chromed lug nuts on all three cars have rusted.
