I use these as heat sinks when soldering guitar electronics and other smallish electronics. They work well for that.I also use them on a couple of pieces of 22ga stranded wire as clip in leads for testing adding things into guitar circuits like different capacitor values or types, or different types of treble bleed circuits, or other modifications.They seem a little bit expensive for what they are at about 10 for $8, but that is shipped prime so I guess I get that.I do really like them.However, they are not copper, just maybe copper plated. A magnet attracts rather than repels them. Pure copper is diamagnetic, meaning it is repelled by magnets.

The springs on the clips are just right. They hold quite well. I'm using them as heat sink for soldering. Sucked up the heat very well.

Used for a skin tag that I had trouble getting removed without surgery. Kept it on for a few days and tag fell off. Great product.

Exactly what I needed. Out of the package, they weren't quite tight enough to hold a single strand of hair size material, but they are extremely malleable, and a quick hit with a pair of pliers tightened them right up. The toothless design was key to the success of tightening.

Clips are OK, but shaving heads are NOT a replacement for the current shaving head despite claims otherwise. I am not at all satisfied!

I use these little clips as heat shields when soldering transistor leads to circuit boards. There are certain little transistors that are sensitive to heat, and these clips work like magic to absorb the heat before it reaches the component.
