Yes they are black.. my x5 is white but also have blac trims outside so with the pair of black covers it worked well with my vehicle...it’s fits perfect...I suggest picture how it would look on your vehicle before you buy it..when I was looking around it was difficult finding the color to match your vehicle some sellers wanted your paint code to paint it to your car color..but if you buy it maybe you can do it yourself..I hope I help with my feedback
