Not very thick
If you are looking for a thick, comfortable egg crate mattress, this is not the one to buy. I ordered two for my children and it was hardly even thicker than a mattress cover. Also, the boxes they both came in were not taped close and is poorly presented when it arrived. I returned it immediately and do not recommend this product.
