This graphic novel is a series of short stories with the new Toy Story 4 characters, based around their time before Woody came with Forky. The first is Ducky and Bunny's, the second is Duke Caboom's and the last is Bo and Giggle's. Lastly there is an overall story that gets concluded very nicely. The art is beautiful! Each story gets a different art style and the writing is interesting. I hope this is considered canon in the Toy Story universe.

My son loves graphic novels and Toy Story. We were disappointed to find that his favorite character “Forky” was not in any of the stories in this book. The book is good overall but Forky was a major character in Toy Story 4 so his absence from these stories is the reason I am giving this 4 stars.

Beware...there is no forky in this book. So disappointed.
