I installed these on our pool gates as a secondary latch that requires 2 handed opening with a hand inside the gate. Worked great. Very easy to install. Strong magnet. Great value.

This gate latch is amazing. Installed and it works like a charm. We made the gate shorter than the fence but I am sure that the latch will work so much longer than the standard gate latches. Purchased the gate stop as well and the pair make a gate that is seamless in use and closing. Easy to open and secure when closed. Would recommend to anyone that has had past issues with gate latches.

I installed this on a gate that is less than a thousand feet from the ocean. Every regular latch I've used previously was destroyed by corrosion within a year. This one is primarily a heavy plastic and I expect I won't need to replace it. My only complaint was with the instructions. They're not as clear as they could be- I installed the latch part on the wrong post and had to swap them after putting them on. The holes didn't line up universally, one side allows for horizontal wiggle the other for vertical. Be sure to pay attention when installing!

I have a couple of these gate latches and they work great for keeping gate closed the magnet is strong and easy to use.
