It's heavy duty, super straight, and stands upright pretty nicely. Excellent simple straight edge for the money.

Straight. I put it on my table saw top and was unable to get any feeler gauges under it. Light, yet has enough weight to make it solid. Perfect length for what I need.

This is a great straight edge and for a great price. It's dead flat and solid. My only complaint is that the solid silver design is hard to see where it meets the surface of whatever you are using it against. A bit of paint to add some contrast would fix that.

The "POWERTEC 38 Inch Straight Edge" is a tool that is, according to the test I use for woodworking tools, perfectly straight. It has a nice silky-smooth finish, isn't going to rust and is easy to handle. Not only that, but it is stable sitting on its bottom edge and within my rather limited budget. I should have got one of these for my shop decades ago.

This is very handy to have around. I have used to it set up my jointer. Very helpful for the task. Works good to check boards to make sure they are flat. I’ve used it to see that boards weren’t straight which I could then run through my jointer to get a straight edge to reference on the table saw fence. It’s quickly becoming something I’m reaching for often. A valuable tool to have around if you do any woodworking.

Seems to be at least as accurate as they advertise. Very nice addition to my shop. I use it for setting up new tools and for identifying uneven surfaces on large slabs.

To be honest, I expected, from the pics, for the tool to be a little flimsy, made out of melted cans. Maybe I'm growing cynical. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be very solid with some weight. As best as I can tell, this is why I needed a real straight edge, it's flatter than anything I have. Shipped in a stout tube. I'm satisfied.

Estaba algo escéptico ya que el precio y las dimensiones eran para no entusiasmarse mucho, es larga casi ronda el metro y me costó por ahí de los 1,000 pesos muy por debajo de otras opciones en cuanto al precio y por arriba de las dimensiones, es por eso que crei que no sería tan buena, pero me lleve una muy grata sorpresa al checar que es muy precisa mucho muy precisa, así que estoy hasta el momento muy satisfecho con la compra y definitivamente es buena, bonita y barata.

Great product, does what it is intended for, has weight and heft to it and is cheaper than the full metal ones. Highly recommend.
