These are amazing. I added some to some Kurdish Dolma. I ground one down and used about a teaspoon and half and it made a huge difference to the taste. Will definitely buy again once I use the huge bag that was sent out. Will be searching more recipes to add these to.

Spent 10 years in the Middle East so know about black lemons. Their flavour is unique and can be widely used in cooking. They last a long time, I have just finished some I had for 5 years. Value for money is good also.

I bought these to use in an Ottolenghi recipe (Grilled Beef Skewers), they have a punchy flavour and are addition to the store cupboard.

I was a bit skeptical of ordering long distance cuisine food items however they arrived in first rate condition without damage to the packaging or items within enabling us to experience some of the wonders of persian cooking.Would use again

As I have never used black limes before, I was/am unsure what to expect after reading about them, but these look, smell and taste as though they were roasted (far too long) to dry them. "Real" ones should be sun-dried.They actually have rather little taste even eaten as they arrive, just as dry black lime - faintly acidic and citrus, but not obviously lime, lemon or anything else. A whole one ground, with 2oz of boiled rice, after cooking, produces rather little flavour.A very big disappointment.
