PerrigoPolyethylene Glycol 3350 8.3 Oz (238gm) Powder (Compare to Miralax)

I have a hyper thyroid cat that was almost completely blocked and struggling to poop. After a very expensive vet visit, I got to actually see (via xray) the internal struggle going on. She is on a new medicine (cats swallowing pills... oh the horror!) and we get a 1/2 teaspoon dose of this in our wet food every night.Boy!! This works!! I have never seen such large ... ummm... deposits in the litter boxes. LONG curls of cat hair and poop magically appeared. My other cat has no poop issues, but because he sometimes gets into the dosed dish he also gets the benefits. He is a very long haired cat and he is moving freely as well. You don't need hairball remedies when you are dosing them with this!! Okay, seriously. This eased the discomfort and resolved the issues at half the price of the brand name. I use generics every day. If it's good enough for me, it's good enough for my kits.

This is a better price and works just as good as the higher price powder. The best thing, there's no taste, at all.. I can't say that with Miralax.

Hi I bought this because I had to have a colonoscopy in my doctor wanted me to dump the whole darn bottle of this stuff in 64 oz of gatorade. Yeah so I did that and then he wanted me to drink 32 oz about every 3 hours for the next 6 hours and yeah I did that. And then I was miserable and felt like I was going to die all night long until I made it to the colonoscopy and then I got that done and I did the colonoscopy which the only enjoyable part was the profanal they put on me right before I passed out. Then I came out of it my doctor said they didn't find anything and then I felt like Oh yay and then I felt like wow I did all this for nothing but then I felt like no I didn't do it all for nothing I did it because now I know everything's okay. So why did I buy this well Miralax is no dice and no chemicals really it's just one ingredient and I have Interstitial cystitis so I can't just pour into my body anything and this is what people with Interstitial cystitis should use prior to a colonoscopy fun fun. That's the whole story and if you have to buy this for a colonoscopy I wish you well and you have all my prayers because the prep part is the worst part. This is my own original review and I was not paid for it and will probably never be paid for it but I hope it helps someone. Bye for now

At almost half the price of the name brand.... you can't go wrong. I simply can't give five stars to a product that caused me this much grief, as it was intended to do.

I like Perrigo products. They have consistently good quality. This powder dissolves well and performs equal to the brand name product for half the price.
