happy bunny, happy human
We've tried other bedding, since this is sometimes expensive, but our rabbit is never happy. In fact, he hated the one bedding so much that he wouldn't lay in it OR use it for litter--either one! He avoided it like the plague. We've gotten this brand in multiple colors and the rabbit doesn't care. He's happy, we're happy. No poop to clean up all over the floor and he's got comfy bedding in his hideaway and decent little absorbing stuff in that spot, as well. (Can you tell that i like that you can use it both ways?Bonus? Rabbit poop is great for compost, so we just throw it all in the compost bin, paper and all.

Great stuff!
This stuff works so well! It isn't bleached or colored like many other products, so I feel it is much better for bunny bunny. It is also quite absorbent. Plus, it's less expensive than most other paper-based bedding. We stopped using the pine bedding because it was getting all over my daughter's bedroom & stuck in her sherpa blanket. This stuff is so easy to clean up! We've been using it for quite a while & will most likely keep using it until there is no more bunny.

Spend a Couple More Dollars on Better Bedding
This product isn't getting one star only because of the excellent customer service, getting a refund was very easy. My biggest issue with this bedding was how much dust comes in the package. It claims to be virtually dust-free, but of all the bedding I've tried, it's had the most dust in it. For my personal preference, I didn't feel comfortable putting this bedding in my pet's cage.

... 3 hamsters (2 Syrians and 1 Russian winter white) love this bedding better than the other substrate/bedding we've tried
My 3 hamsters (2 Syrians and 1 Russian winter white) love this bedding better than the other substrate/bedding we've tried. We use approximately 1/2 a bag for our 20L gallon tank and the other half of a bag for our bin cage and it gives them enough fluff to burrow under as well. It also is great at absorbing the smells though our fur babies are great at using their potty sand.

I was extremely disappointed to find out that it is only 6 liters
I have a hamster and use CritterCare regularly. Amazon says that it is 14 liters. However, when I got it I first realized how small the box it. I was extremely disappointed to find out that it is only 6 liters. I like the product, but they really need to be more clear. There are only 6 liters in this bag.

Scratchy, doesnt prevent odors
I don’t love this bedding. I use Aspen wood in my tanks, but like to get “softer” bedding for my hamster’s nests. This was not soft. It’s very scratchy, and doesn’t prevent odors... if anything, it causes more. It’s a Carefresh-similar bedding and not in a good way. I wanted to like it but sadly it just didn’t do the trick.

Misleading information
The bedding itself is great for my ferret and he loves it. What I don't love is the misleading information about the bedding being 14 liters, but it's really 6 liters. You don't know until you look closely at the product pictures. I thought I was getting a good deal, but really was getting a crappy deal. What I've also noticed is that other brands of bedding are doing the same thing. Please look closely at the pictures before you purchase.

not dusty or smelly
this bedding makes both my hamster and myself very happy; it seems to keep her warm and keeps her cage from smelling. The only negative is since I don't smell her, I sometimes forget about her...
