Made in Japan and sent from Japan. Worth the wait! Works as described. Tea is ground in-between two ceramic rings, very finely. Pieces of stems get through and a simple sieve helps to refine the grind.

Product is great for grinding black and green tea leaves. As another reviewer stated it makes a big difference when using leaves without the stems.

Doesn't do what I wanted it to. The tea is too coarse to dissolve in the water as powder, so I end up having to try to drink around everything that is floating in the water. Just used it twice and set it aside.

Very nice product would receive 5stars - but leaflet in original chinese/*japanese* (pls, xcuse my nescience) makes it real hard - would think a simple copy of one (1) english translation for thousands of products should be possible at least!!If the powder is not always fine enough, not completely dissolving - I wouldn't care: it's nature, we eat it anyway, let a small part of it stay as dietary fiber ;-)

こちらのレビューを参考に購入しました。早速、石臼型のセラミック刃をネジで増し占めしてから挽いたたところ、市販品の粉末茶と同等以上に挽けました。びっくりです。過去レビューで全く粉にならないと嘆いている方がいますが、増し占めしたら完璧な粉茶になりますよ。お試しあれ。コスパに優れた商品だと感心しています。今まで購入していた鹿児島特産の粉末茶（㈱和香園）の入れ物に入れてみましたので写真を添付します。

お茶をまるごと飲んで悪玉コレステロール値を減らしたいです。効くかは分かりませんが、便秘気味だと思っていませんでしたがすごく快調になったような気がします。組み立てる時にしっかり説明書を見てきつく調整ネジを締めたので細かい粉になります。石臼式セラミック刃の合わせ方が合っていないとちゃんと挽けないようです。私は、まとめて時間のある時に挽いて１日で湯呑に５杯は飲んでいます。
