Dodge Ram 2010-2012 CLEAR lens Cab Roof Running Lights Mopar OEM

I installed these lights back in September on my 2012 Ram 2500 with the help of a friend of mine. We did quite a bit of research before attempting the install. This kit requires drilling holes in your roof, so it might not be for the faint of heart and remember MEASURE TWICE (or in this case a dozen times) and DRILL ONCE (or 15 times in this case).I had ordered a different wiring harness that supposedly will work with the stock connector in the passenger side A-pillar, but ended up splicing around it, so I would suggesting using the one that comes with the kit. I also bought some color match paint to touch up all of the holes that are drilled to prevent rust and improve the appearance (not that I expect anyone to look under the lights anyway).The install took about 6 hours, mostly due to being very meticulous about our measurements and also running into some issues using the different wiring harness as I mentioned previously. The only issue I have had since the install is one of the lights was dim after a few weeks, but I swapped out the bulb and it has been fine ever since. I chose this because it said it was OEM parts. I doubt it. The instructions are vague at best but it has a full size template making placement much easier. No real instruction on where to tap into power. The nstructions make it look like it goes directly to the battery. I found a wire in the window pillar that turned on and off with the lights but not because of this product's instructions. Oh and btw this install requires a 7/8" drill bit. I used a step drill bit that worked great.

Glad I got these lights - I was hesitant at first, read many reviews from other kits, very happy with these. The biggest surprise is the kit came with a template, that was awesome and huge help. I think they look great (wife doesn't get it :-) ) and would recommend. Check youtube for videos on how to install similar kits and you'll be fine.

i have a 2005 ram 3500 & wanted to be different & put the clear lenses. my truck is black so definitely stands out but not in a bad way meaning because its not aftermarket & the quality cannot be beat. plus the fact its the whole kit that you receive!!! i thought i was only getting the lenses but its the whole kit meaning you get the wiring harness & template to install if you're truck doesn't have the cab lights. awesome deal!!!!

These are OE , exactly what I wanted and look great! makes my 2012 ram 3500 look even better than it did, and gives you more visibility both for you as the driver to see better and others to see you. great product.
