Badly designed connector/cradle
I have changed this review because although the unit did not work for me, the seller was gracious enough to reach out to me and refund the cost. I really respect that.I would advise users to only buy this if they intend to use it with a phone in a fairly thick case.

Plug didn't fit
Advertised to work for Samsung J7 but the plug wouldn't fit into the charging socket so that wasn't much help, was it?

Bad contact
Was looking forward to using it. Some trouble trying to get it mounted and then wouldn't stay mounted or connected. Had to repeatedly adjusted to maintain a connection. So I got a different type of stand without the charge built into it.

Horrible Experience
Charger is very slow. The cord is super short. And worst of all it doesn't stay connected! The point of a dock is to have a place the charger will stay connected to the phone. It also advertises the compadibility for thin cases but unless if I'm wrapping my phone in paper it isn't going to work with a case!

Far too Flimsy
I guess we shouldn't have expected much for the price, but what we got was a plastic stand and a micro usb cable. As a result, when the phone stand fell less than two weeks after the receipt, the micro usb connector snapped off in the phone. I would expect something sturdier than this if I am buying a base.
