XXL Wooden Box Without Handhold

Absolutely dreadful quality... not worth £4 let alone the huge price tag Splintered (not suitable for a child atall) bodge job paint work. Nothing xxl about it atall!! It feels like wood look plastic rather than wood extremely cheap looking In fact I wouldn’t use this for dogs toys let alone a child’s. Extremely disappointed! And what a waste of money!

I have been looking for a bread bin, but they are not big enough for my family. Saw this box and I knew straight away, perfect. This easily fits 3 full sized loaves, baps, crumpets and more, ideal for my family of 9. We do go through a massive amount of sandwich''s. kids school lunch, and my lunch at work. Ideal box for us.

I wanted a keep sake box in order to store my beloved dogs items. He had to be pts suddenly on 29/6/20 after a brief illness and its left me heartbroken. I can't face to part with his belongings, he had so many for a little dog so I looked for a wooden box and this is perfect and a lovely shade of baby blue. There is a small dent on the top and the ribbon which stops the lid from falling back is frayed. This is why I have marked them down slightly. Perfect size for his things.... blanket, winter coat, 3 collars, 4 leads, a harness, bowl, kong toy and various other bits of sentimental pieces. I will put the cards I have received for him in there also. I am going to have a photo book made so when I am ready I can look in this box and remember with love. I have ordered a wooden name plate for the top with his name on so I plan to glue that on to the lid. Very pleased with this purchase. It came very well wrapped also.

The construction of the box itself is quite nice. The wood is not thick but it is not bad. Unfortunately it is let down by poor finishing. The hinges are quite small flimsy and I suspect will need replacing quite soon. The finish to the wood is quite grainy, which means the surface requires a fair bit of TLC and sanding before paint is applies to get a good smooth finish. The product image used shows a very smooth opaque finish but the actual product finish had a very light colour wash finish meaning the gains and knots are very visible. Also what looks like a hinge in the photo is actually a small piece of ribbon which is stapled down. Overall for the price I really expected better, especially when paying extra for a painted finish.

I didnt expect it to work but this has been excellent for storing my bathroom cosmetics in my room. I always had issues with dust on top of things like my deodrant, oils, sunglasses, shaver, toothbrush, toilet roll. All the storage taken up in the bathroom so this was a good alternative and it worked. I can store over 30 items with no issues with the box. Very well made

This is great. A proper solid, wooden box that comes already assembled. Exactly what I wanted and good price.

Paid £30 for a bit of cheap wood. The box is too weak to be useful. It's also very rough and unfinished. Worse still the colouring came off in my hands, all over my furniture - everywhere. I've done all I can with it apart from smash it up and throw it away or burn it.

Son muy bonitas y caben muchísimas cosas. Me gusta que sean de madera. Vienen bien protegidas.

De kist is heel dun en licht. Scharniertjes zijn er in gedrukt ipv geschroefd. Lintje om deksel open te laten staan is vast gemaakt met nietjes. Hout is erg ruw en de kleur is verre van hout kleur maar een vieze kleur bruin. Gaat retour!

Leuke praktische kistjes. Ik gebruik ze voor los liggend spul in de badkamer zoals borstels, haarlak enz. En een voor wasmiddel en schoonmaak spullen. De badkamer is weer super netjes :-)
