Awesome set of wrenches
Awesome set of wrenches. I used these slide wrenches at work and decided to get a set for myself. They are heavier than normal adjustable wrenches but they are so versatile and quick to use.

Teething issues
Small one broke after one day of use. Not really even use, I tested it out - great. Took it to a job and immediately found it would only open about 1/2 its full width despite the slide being all the way down.I closed it completely, removed the screw and pulled out the mechanism, then reset the gear to fully closed. When I tried it again it once again opened to full width. I used it. Then about a half hour later pulled it out to do something else and the same thing happened. Might could be the smaller one isn't as hardy as the big one but might also be I just havent' used the big one enough (twice?) to break it. Not altogether great but amazon is sending me a replacement. They are BIG HEAVY cudgels too, the handle has to be about twice as thick to accommodate the screw mech, and the rest is solid cast steel. These would be pretty great for a homeowner doing occasional work who keeps their tools tidy.

Good. No, seriously!
I’ve wasted a lot of time looking for a GOOD adjustable wrench. These are the best so far. They adjust instantly and hold a setting well enough you don’t have to readjust every time you move to another angle—for large enough nuts. Below about 3/8” that may not work. Check back in 20 years to see how well they wear.

I love the concept of the slide-to-adjust feature of this wrench
I love the concept of the slide-to-adjust feature of this wrench. The slide is a bit bumpy, though, meaning that the slide mechanism moves very roughly as the jaws open and close. I have not yet tested the wrenches by using a great deal of force to verify that the jaws do not slide open when tightening or loosening bolts/nuts. DO NOT OIL this wrench! Just a touch of WD-40 and the slide mechanism will no longer hold when applying torque to the wrench.

Don't close easily and lock around nuts as well as I had hoped
If you are trying to get these wrenches closed around a nut from an odd angle the slide just won't work. Very frustrating because most times when I'm in this situation I don't have an easy angle on the nut. Also the wrench does not hold very well under a lot of force. Was trying to take the arbor nut off my table saw and it looked like the wrench might break. Would not recommend these wrenches.
