Still going strong, after 20 years and reliable John Deere spares!
My trusty LX178 tractor mower, now over 20 years old, packed up on me part way through moving some garden rubbish in a trailer. it would just about run on full choke - so check fuel and sure enough the fuel filter was completely clogged. Cleaned most of the muck out so it ran again and ordered new one. Replacement arrive from Amazon a couple of days later and now all running ok again. Great!
