Aviation Maintenance Technician Handbook-Airframe, Volume 1 Kindle Edition

As I reviewed for volume two, these books are great for studying for the A&P exams. All of them are well illustrated with color pictures and great information. I purchased the three books in this series and the Advisory circular AC43.13 . Now I am well prepared for the exams. The great thing about these books is that they are put out by the FAA so all the questions will come from these books and they are VERY reasonably priced.

As an airframe mechanic i can say that this is better than the jeppesen version, better ilustrations and better explanations. A must for those who want to enter the aviation field or are currently studying OR perhaps want to expand their knowleadge like myself.

Excellent overview of language used with definitions and examples. I used it to help create an Aviation English curriculum. For someone without a grasp of basic principles and in need of introduction to the subject, this book does the trick.

Great information. I bought the series to gain more knowledge about planes. This book is geared to future mechanics and goes into much detail. I enjoyed learning of the little details that go into pane design. Good series of books!

This is the First Book of two for Airframe. It is pretty much everything you need to know about doing a multitude of maintenance procedures. This is the reference to basic Aviation standards that the FAA requires for getting licensed.

This is the worst FAA publication that I have ever had my hands on. First of all, the print on all pages looks as though it were double printed. It is fuzzy and difficult to read. I also expected color graphics in the same form as the PHAK but that is not the case. All pictures are black and white and are blurry due to the typesetting error. The errors in this book are cover to cover. Perhaps I have just received a bad copy but since it came to me unwrapped, you would think that someone at Amazon would have at least flipped through a few pages to see if it was in good condition before shipping.UPDATE: I have discovered that this book may be a counterfeit. The actual FAA publication has color graphics. The ones that Amazon is selling are all black and white, including the graphics.
