Excellent Parts
These things were perfect for what I needed. A couple of comments: POINT ONE: While shopping for these, I noted that some other manufacturers use "non standard" sizes for the screws that come into the adapter from the sides. This can be a problem if you are trying to install these in a tool-less hard drive enclosure, which will obviously use the same diameter and pitch which is standard for 3.5 inch drives. Rest assured that this unit uses the same screws as a hard drive would, and worked perfectly for my internal hard drive rack, as the pics illustrate. Which brings me to. . . POINT TWO: At first, the mounting screws needed for my internal HD rack would not thread into the holes in the adapter, and I thought I had been foiled. When I carefully looked at the mounting screws provided with the kit, I noted that they were not "normal" straight cut machine screws, but that they were tapered. This made me realize that the tapered screws were needed to cut through the blue coating, which also covers the threads in the mounting holes. Therefore, if you are using screws other than those provided, you must first use the tapered screws to "chase" the threads, as you might do with a tap. After this has been done, the coating is cut away from the threads, and my special hardware for my internal tool-free HD rack threaded in easily. TL:DR - great quality pieces at a great price. Buy!

Great value for a quality product
I purchased this to mount an SSD internal drive in my pc. The bracket had the necessary holes to mount the drive and to connect to the case. It is also very sturdy. I would recommend to others. I used to mount a WD Blue 3D NAND SSD into a Cooler Master case. Worked great.

Just fantastic!
Two brackets instead of one for the same price from Crucial. Slightly larger and sturdier than Crucial's. I don't remember screws from Crucial and these came with ample screws. As noted by someone else, each package of screws had an extra to handle the almost inevitable drop of a tiny screw. Also as noted, the hole spacing was a little long, but I managed to clip the side rails from my Raidmax Smilodon case onto them. They then just slipped into the drive bay and clicked. I had to leave Crucial's sitting loose on the bay floor. Also happy with the blue powdercoat instead of the same dreary black on everything! A really really good buy!

Well made, works as advertised (for a very old Dell Desktop) -- Used to Install new SSD
The mounting holes give a fair amount of flexibility. The bracket is very well made, made of metal alloy with a slightly rough texture for better grip. I tried using the side holes and though the work it was kind of maddening since there was a lot of space between the side of the bracket and the SSD. I often dropped a screw trying to slide it on the tip of a screwdriver through the side hole and into the side of the SSD. For me the holes in the base worked much better. I know someone else commented they didn't work for them, but they were fine for my drive. The only reason I gave it a four was because I had to cut the plastic Dell chassis holder. Otherwise there just wasn't enough room for the power and interface cables.

Mostly okay for the price
It's only a minor gripe but when attempting to secure one side of the adapter would cause the hole on the opposite side to be out of alignment, had to force the screws in sideways and it worked in the end. Not a huge deal since I'm applying any deformation force to the adapters and not my drives. No stars off, cheap, made of metal, comes with all the hardware.

Quite sturdy, Reasonable price, Worked well using the supplied mounting screws.
These are actually pretty well built brackets for the price. I read a few other reviews that indicated issues with screw hole alignment, and I can see that using some screw-less quick mounts may be an issue. I just used the screws to mount it and had no trouble.

Nice bracket
Needed to upgrade son's desktop and needed a 3.5 to 2.5 adapter. I saw this and jumped on it. It comes with 2 brackets for under $7.00. I placed a WD Blue 1TB SSD in it. It fit fine using the black screws. I used the other screws for the HDD tray. Slid right in and click, was in place. Hooked up the cables and everything was great.

Necessary when replacing conventional hard disk with SSD
To improve your Windows computer boot time, you have to switch to a solid-state drive (SSD). The little SSD's are tiny and typically will not fit in place of the conventional hard drive. This mounting bracket allows you to mount the SSD in the place of the conventional hard disk. Works fine in the four desktop computers I've upgraded with a SSD. The only issue is that you need M3-0.50 x 6mm screws which are not included but available from Lowes Hardware.
