I received the Stool and straightway opened it, set it up for use, but had a problem closing it down. Thinking it faulty I contacted the Seller....... A while later my Son explained the catches on each side allow the stool to be closed he easily closed it. I tried to but found the catches a bit stiff to operate for my elderly wrists/hands, but he assures me as did the Seller, it will get easier with usage. The Seller replied so quickly to my enquiry, offering to send a picture of the catches. and also assured me they will loosen with usage. I have been using the stool and what a difference! I highly recommend it, for both design, price and the prompt customer care I received. It also fits well around the basin of a Toilet. It has found it's home.....

I did a lot of research on the benefits of squatting to poop, having started incorporating the "Asian Squat," into my daily life, a number of years ago. I also did a lot of research on the various "Squatting Aids," available, some of which were very, very expensive. So, in the end, I went for the best known option, The Squatty Potty, which I purchased. However, when I tried it, it didn't "feel" like proper squatting and didn't seem to work Not only that, but the way I was forced to sit on the toilet was very uncomfortable, as the sharp, inner edge of the toilet seat dug quite painfully into my rear! I therefore sent it back and resolved to squat on the toilet rim, which I've been doing for years, in spite of the fact that many people (and I agree with them) warned/advised that it might, not only be precarious, but potentially dangerous to do! I decided to revisit the squatting aid option again, as I'm not getting any younger, but decided to avoid the Squatty Potty. I therefore happened upon the HOCA Toilet Stool, which seemed to come with a lot of recommendations and "medical" endorsements. So, took plunge and ordered one. The first few days of use, took some getting used to, placing the stool at the correct distance from the toilet. I haven't experienced anything close to the discomfort I felt with the Squatty Potty, although to be fair, it might be that I've had a new toilet/toilet seat fitted, in the past year and the inner edge of the toilet seat may not be as sharp as the previous toilet/toilet seat. Either way, the HOCA fits neatly under the toilet, until needed and I have to be honest, it appears to "work," and perform its function really well! 😉😉 That, and I feel much more secure and comfortable using it. Therefore, I can thoroughly recommend this product!

Does what it's supposed too. Seems to be good quality and fits neatly around the loo so it can stay there permanently. Gamechanger for using the loo, wish I had bought one years ago.

Nice neat design. Looks OK in the bathroom and useful that it folds so can be put away even in a small cupboard if required. I hated the logo on the front, but hoped it would come off with just a bit of nail varnish remover. It did, so I'm happy. So I'm trusting that I won't want to return it for any reason, but it looks pretty sturdy, so I doubt it.. Been using an upside down washing up bowl until now, so a great improvement. Makes SUCH a difference to manage a squat position! Everyone should have one.

Si buscas un taburete para el inodoro que tenga buena relación calidad-precio, éste puede ser el que buscas. Es ergonómico en su uso, no pesa casi nada, queda recogido debajo del inodoro y ayuda muchísimo.

Såg "originalet" på Shark Tank många år sedan och denna uppfyller funktionen i sin ordning. Den är lika i bred och höjd som originalet fast 6/10 delar billigare. Den är gjord av hård plast och sitter utmärkt runt svenska toaletter och när den väl omringar toalettstolen så syns den knappt och du känner inte av den ifall du sitter som vanligt.
