Optimum Big Hit Tackle Buddy

Bought this without reading the reviews.It's designed for 3-5 year olds which isn't mentioned at all on product description.Those that fell for this product with older, tackling children.. it seems it doesn't last 2 mins.Children don't start tackling in rugby until the age of 8, maybe that should be made clear on your product and you make one for the appropriate age group?3-5s don't tackle in rugby and shouldn't be encouraged to.

My 9 year old rugby mad son loved this; and put in many hard tackles against it (within our home, not outdoors) in the 2 days before things started falling apart... The sand bag in the base burst first, meaning that it stopped standing upright, and this was shortly followed by a puncture allowing this tackle buddy to finally give up the ghost.A puncture repair kit is supplied, but was not very successful; hard hits will kill this fierce looking fella!Was it worth the money? My son would no doubt say yes; he had the time of his life. I'm a bit more dubious, take £5 off the price and yes it would be fine; but as it is it just becomes an overpriced balloon.

don't buy this ! it's being miss sold, as its for 3 - 5 year olds, I only found out once it was delivered. I tried to return it and get money back, but they don't allow that..

I was looking for something to introduce my U7's rugby team to tackling without scaring them with a big tackling bag to start with. They loved smashing this guy down to the floor and at the end of the session the best tackler decided to call him Donald Trump, pretty apt because he's full of wind! I'm also planning to use him as a marker in future passing sessions if he stays alive long enough.

Great value for money, robust material. Good size and weight.My son just turned 4, is just shy of 3&1/2 stone and is 110cm. This thing is perfect for now and later.To be fair it’s just shorter than him rather than the 114cm in the product description but this doesn’t take away from the product. He tackles it, kicks it, punches it, throws it around. It’s saved me from hours of “play fighting” 5* and would definitely buy another if there was a different colour.

This is a nice product...just didn't notice the age range. Thought it was for teenagers but it's actually meant for young children.

Couldn’t inflate as large hole at bottom where the weight is positioned.Real shame. Was being as a birthday present now have all the hassle of having to return etc.

Came on time, my son who has been playing rugby for a few months now loves it
