I purchased a fancy sous vide set for my husband but this works just as well. Plenty of bags so it gives you many options. Love this new way that we cook. Everything comes out so moist and delicious.

Example: I eat a lot of salad therefore I make a weeks supply and divide the full amount into two bags. One bag is vacuum pack and stored in the fridge until my other vacuumed bag of salad is finished. The bag that i'm using daily is opened and closed about twice daily. The battery operated sealer is a must have to seal the bags in only a few seconds. I have used the sealed bags many times and so far I have only had two bags that don't retain the seal.For me the whole system is great!

For years I have suffered with frozen items being caked in ice because I was not using them fast enough. Being able to vacuum seal these items will keep them frost free and from drying out. I found myself vacuum sealing just about everything in my freezer. After I was done I was amazed at how much space was created by removing unnecessary packaging and air. I did clip the panel that had the product description and cooking directions and placed them inside the bags so I know what they are and how to prepare them. The manufacturer did miss an opportunity as I could not find how to order more of their bags and instead ordered more bags from a 3rd party supplier.

We life in Florida and we by fresh fish when in the Keys..this works great for packaging everything.. love it.. not a huge appliance to find a place for either.. i have it in a drawer with the bags ..love it..

Love it for left over cheeses , etc. . Good little item for the money.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  It works great on the food saver lids. This is he reason I bought it. The only think I don’t like is that the batteries pop out with the slightest bump. They even came out when I tried to use the holder.
