Camelbak Products Chute Water Bottle, Marine Blue, 1-Liter

I've been using this product...for a while now. Years? Not sure. And at this point I can definitely say it's "ok" rather than awesome.Pros: holds much water (obviously); double-cap means you don't have to open the big cap to drink; tiny ring for gripping; has not broken despite being dropped...maaaany many times.Cons: Double-cap means I really don't want to have to open and close the little one every time I want to drink so I usually leave it open, which means I've spilled it a lot. A LOT. And since it holds so much water, aaalll that water goes all over my couch, my car, my friends' carpets, etc etc. Also, the tiny ring for gripping, is very tiny, and when you're carrying several things, you just slip it on your pinky and hope it doesn't slip. Finally, it's sometimes hard to tell if it's not closed 100% and I've recently had several leaks when it's in one of my bags. To look at it, you'd think it was closed, but there's just a tiiiny part that's not and, again, since there's so much water, a lot can get out if you don't notice over a long enough time.Summary: It's a great bottle and will last a long time even if you drop it frequently on many different surfaces. However, if you're slightly clumsy and might knock it over or would be sticking it in laptop bags or laundry bags or other bags as you carry many bags to and from your car, I'd consider another bottle with a top that's a bit less...involved.Also one of the little orange connectors broke yesterday. Not even sure how. So, that's fun.

Good looking, mostly ergonomic. We used it on a recent backpacking trip to get water from sources and treat it with SteriPen. The spout has its own cover that unscrews easily and fast. All the parts are connected with the orange (in this color scheme) plastic thingy making it easy to keep all the parts together. The bottle is light, too. The only tricky part is ensuring that you screw on the main cover well enough so it doesn't leak when the bottle is not standing upright. Once almost the whole liter leaked into our tent: we learned the hard way to ensure the cap is closed correctly. It doesn't hurt to turn the bottle upside down and check for leaking. After the first "lesson" learned we never had the problem again.UPDATE: I found out that it really helps to hold the cap (main or small) still with one hand, while turning the bottle with the other. That way I am getting 100% success really closing the bottle so it doesn't leak. Other people noticed too that ensuring that the bottle is closed can be a hit or miss.

This water bottle is excellent. I got it specifically because it is one of the only bottles not to have a straw or wide mouth opening. It is easy to literally chug water from. The plastic means it is lightweight compared to glass or metal bottles. It obviously doesn't insulate, but I knew that going in. It is easy to clean. No problems with gross buildup of any kind.My one criticism is the plastic collar used to keep the cap connected to the bottle. It broke off after about a month of use. That being said, I find the bottle easier to use WITHOUT the plastic cap leash because the top doesn't flop around and get in the way as much. Of course, even without the leash, the top is easily secured to the bottle with the little tabs on the cap. Definitely recommend this bottle.

I purchased this item twice it was so wonderful the first time! I actually had to dispose of the original because of my own lax in cleaning it properly, so I would HIGHLY recommend sticking this thing in the dishwasher after every use. But the product itself is sturdy and washes very well in the dishwasher. It is surprisingly insulating for having no obvious insulation, and it keeps my drinks cold for a while when I load them up with ice, whereas other bottles would lose the strength of the coolness rapidly. This bottle also doesn't sweat much when it's full of an icy beverage! It's got a great wide mouth for ease in drinking or pouring. The only downside to this bottle is that there is no grip or contour for fingers, but I don't find that I have difficulty keeping hold of it because, again, the sweat is minimal and it's not often slippery. Great product, will probably be buying an extra in the future - again!!!

By far my favorite water bottle I've had yet. My husband got me this water bottle in hopes that I would hydrate more (I may or may not have a problem with this). It does leak (a big deal to me) and it is really easy to drink from. I love that the lid to the mouthpiece is attached but is secured under the handle so that it doesn't flop around and hit you in the face while you're drinking. It's easy to drink from this bottle while you drive which is where I do my best hydrating, fun fact about me. You're welcome. Super durable and I love that it has the measurements on the outside marked so that I can track how much I'm drinking throughout the day. You drink a liter but something about the aesthetic tricks you into feeling like there isn't THAT much in there so it's doable. For all you hydrating-challenged folks out there, this one is for you!

Have ben using sigg water bottle for years but when I dented my 3rd one I needed a replacement. This Camelbak is a great high flow water bottle. Love the cap holder integrated into the carry handle to keep it from hitting you in the face when you drink. 1/4 turn cap is easy to operate 1 handed and this thing is very durable. I have dropped it from 10-15 feet onto a concrete floor and it survived completely unscathed. My only issue (4stars instead of 5) is that it needs a mesh insert at the base of the spout to keep large chunks of Ice from flowing into your mouth while drinking. Love to drink large amounts of water but a full ice cube it the throat while doing so isn't fresh.

Love it! I have finally found a 1 litre water bottle that isn't super bulky. The only thing I have found is that it describes the lid being able to sit into the handle so it's not flopping around in your face while you are drinking. However, mine doesn't but I just hold it down via the connector and that alleviates that issue.

Ce produit est presque parfait si vous souhaitez transporter votre eau de tous les jours sans acheter d'eau en bouteille. Je suis un adepte depuis plusieurs année des produits Camelbak et les bidons sont pratiquement indestructible, de plus, ils sont également garanti à vie (au cas où...).Le gros point positif de ce bidon est son bouchon : l'ouverture est aisée et fait exactement la bonne taille (légèrement plus grande qu'une bouteille d'eau standard) et toutes les parties mobiles sont maintenues par un plastique orange qui permet de ne pas perdre ce bouchon. De plus, lorsqu'on souhaite boire, on peux coincer le bouchon dans la anse afin de ne pas être gêné par celui ci.Le seul point négatif de ce bison est également son bouchon. Il est assez difficile de coincer le bouchon dans la anse au début lorsqu'on en a pas l'habitude. Du coup, si on ne coince pas le bouchon lorsqu'on souhaite boire, celui ci vient heurter le nez, ce qui est assez désagréable.Bilan : à acheter les yeux fermé si vous ne souhaitez plus utiliser de bouteilles plastiques jetable. Cette bouteille vous suivra pour le reste de votre vie.

My favourite water bottle ever. It's massive and very durable. Took this along with me while I lived abroad in South America. It's endured the toughest of times. No complaints.
