This PS3 was my B'day present (but, cuz my B'day is just after X-mas, it didn't make sense for my gifter to look into things until later in Jan...)This deal was not only Perfect, it was *So* much more than expected!!!*short version - I am looking at so many fun things, including PS2 items I had planned on buying!So much luv for this seller... as described and shipped safely and WAY early!

Changing my review since I was able to get the issue I was having resolved. The PS3 works perfectly, no glitches or errors, disc drive and all buttons and inputs work as expected. Minus one small scratch on the top, it's in perfect shape and I recieved all the required parts. The include controller does not have a properly working d-pad but it's not a huge deal because I have plenty of other controllers.The issue I had was resolved by doing a full factory reset that took 20 hours to complete so I don't believe the PS3 was properly reset prior to being sent out. No big deal though considering I was able to fix it myself.

Not how it is described at all. The PS3 not only came damaged after it was listed as "Like New", but also came with a third party controller. As shown in the picture, it is supposed to come with a name brand Sony PS3 controller. Looking closer at the unit, you can tell that it was taken apart at one point and put back together in a rush. The disk eject button and the power button are off center. I have yet to power up the unit because I am afraid that it will damage the brand new disks that I bought for it. If that does happen, I foresee a false advertisement suit along with punitive damages.

After reading some negative reviews, one can get nervous and not know what to expect. Mine showed up in great shape though… I would really have to nitpick to find anything wrong with it, just a barely visible scrape on the top. Had the amount of storage advertised, worked perfectly, all cords were individually wrapped and bagged, the controller worked well and was in good shape. I haven’t opened it to look inside and see condition/cleanliness of fans (nor will I unless I need to) but the vents look clean from the outside. I’ll update if issues arise.

Quite a few scuffs, but functional. One star taken off for having a generic controller instead of a DS3

The console itself is in "fair" condition, not excellent. This means it has a few deeper gouges and missing pads from the bottom. The unit did turn on and function somewhat properly when received, with the discs sometimes getting stuck. Took everything apart and found the console to be full of dust and the thermal paste was most definitely factory, with it being completely dry and cemented. Now that I have put my own time and labor into the unit, it is refurbished and can be used without causing damage.I will be going back to making these deals privately considering it will save you about half the cost and you will have to do the same amount of work anyway. Would not recommend this.

Can't believe it's been 3 years since I purchased refurbished PS3. Arrived in perfect condition. Charging cord stopped working on controller, but easily replaced. I am still happy with my purchase.
