Exceeded my expectations and was better than my previous Bluetooth Smart light bulb
I got this about 2 1/2 months ago, so my partner and I have had more than enough time to play around with the light bulbs and the app that is linked with it. I am not rating this by the Alexa integration as I usually tend not to use voice commands overall. The process of connecting the bulbs to the app was simple enough. Once I started trying out the simple functions, I was impressed at how quickly it responded, maybe because my previous bulb was connected by bluetooth instead of wifi and the response speed was always a hit-or-miss. From the use I would get out of these bulbs, I'd say it was perfect for me (I'm pretty simple when it comes to smart bulbs). The variety in colors was nice although I think it had some issues showing a few shades of red properly. These bulbs get significantly bright at 100% and after the initial sync, my phone didn't have to be connected to the wifi to interact with the bulbs (I'm new to wifi smart bulbs so this could already be a well known fact...oops). Lately, I've mostly used these bulbs like normal bulbs with the light switch, and there is about a 1-2 second delay from flipping the switch on to when it actually turns on. This doesn't bother me, but it may be an issue to others. My partner, on the other hand, played around with the more complex functions of the app. This was near the beginning of when we first got the bulbs so the app might have been changed or updated (I will update this review if that is the case), but the complexity of the scheduling function is kind of overwhelming. There are so many things that can be done to schedule the bulbs to turn on a certain way at a certain time, but the coolest factor is for them to change when certain conditions are met (temperature, humidity, weather, sunset/sunrise, wind speed, schedule/specific time, and any changes in other devices also connected to the app). It is so much that I kind of wish the app was more user friendly in this section because I got overwhelmed by this pretty quickly. I don't know how this could be simplified though without sacrificing some functions (which is why I kept this a 5-star). I also noticed a new function that still seems to be in beta testing but it seems to make the bulbs follow an action when you "Leave or Arrive". I have not tested this out yet but the idea seems pretty appealing. Now for the bulbs actually carrying out the scheduled actions, there never seemed to be a problem. They would turn on when scheduled, turn off when scheduled, get warmer or change color at the correct time and it was rather impressive (this was a big issue with my bluetooth smart bulb). For everything that I mentioned above to be included in such an affordable price, I'd say it is a pretty good deal. These bulbs are a great introduction to smart bulbs for those not willing to risk a lot of money on a system that they may doubt in the first place and they can also be perfect for those that do want decent smart bulbs without having to spend $100+.

💡 Best WiFi bulbs we’ve used! 💡
Let’s say that I’m not much of an impulse shopper. Much thought and some level of research goes into what I spend my money on. Especially if purchased online and I’m not able to physically see the product in person. Before I’d decided on this item I’d spent maybe a bit too much time looking for “the one”. I like to be educated on the product and make sure it’s what we need. While doing my little search I’d found many very affordable bulbs that sounded great. But then I see that they all have different wattages and brightness, features. This bulb offers much more brightness than many I’ve looked into. They certainly live up to my expectations and I'm super picky.Upon unboxing, I find two common looking LED bulbs. Both were in good condition, and easy to install. Just twist like any ordinary bulb. Getting it started was pretty simple. I already had the smart home app so just synced them up as directed in the pamphlet and they work perfectly. I can’t tell you how much I love not slamming into everything in the middle of the night, because now it’s as easy as “Alexa, night light” and a dim blue light turns on 1 second later. The same goes for turning it out. Super easy to use and the app works great. The integration of our echo dots and these bulbs is seamless. We will definitely be adding more to our home.

Compared to dedicated illuminating LEDs and other "smart" bulbs these are FANTASTIC...
I've been experimenting with LED lighting for the past 6 years in my home. I found great in-ceiling replacements for the incandescent lighting in my home. If you dig through my reviews you'll find those. Three years later I found these and they are a GREAT option. The thing about these lights is that they are BRIGHT. They are an honest 90W bulb. So if you need proper illumination you get it with these.Next they have variable temperature settings. If you use these with your existing lighting (warm or cool) you can match the color of the existing lights so that they are a seamless addition. From old school pale yellow up to harsh blue workshop lighting these will fit right in.The things that complete the dunk... The price. You can't touch the value. What you get for what you pay is MMMWAH! Perfect... The app is the final piece. I already had the app on my phone because I have wall switches and a fireplace which needed it. The controlling app is no nonsense yet fairly flexible. You can operate all of the features of the bulb and even create programmed timed events or "if-this-happens-then-do-that" action events. Now for the few cons (which are minor in my book)...-- There are no "fun" options in the app, like strobe lights, pulsating alternating colors or other programmable tricks.-- Also the light is tricky to get into pairing mode. You have to follow the instructions EXACTLY if you're going to ever get it into pairing. There's virtually no way a child fiddling with your light switches will trigger a reset or pairing event. But, that also means you have to work like you're on the bomb squad to get these to trip into programming mode. All in all, my first impression is a good one. So much so that I've ordered three more double packs to replace the handful of lights inside the house that I want to make RGB+W wifi controllable.I definitely recommend.Update [16 OCT 2020]: Still going great. I have 10 installed all around my house. The SmartLife app has since added color changing effects like pulsing changing colours and such. *+*+*+*+*
