Q: Ok, so where the heck's the hazelnut? I dont see it on the ingredients list. So the hazelnut flavor is all artificial?

You are correct. The only possible implication of including hazelnut is the ingredient listing of "natural flavors." I generally purchase this particular hazelnut syrup, along with a 100% hazelnut extract from a company called OliveNation. I add about 3 tablespoons of the OliveNation Hazelnut extract to the nearly full Monin Hazelnut syrup bottle. The result, IMHO, yields a truly exceptional tasting hazelnut syrup.

Q: What exactly is the "natural flavors"? It bothers me when companies are shady like this. Just state what the ingredients are.

It's probably a trade secret to prevent any imitations to be produced.
