Caffè Tropea Ground Coffee for Moka Pot - Medium to Dark Roast Italian Espresso Coffee Ground - Robusta & Arabica Strong - 227g Tin Moka Grind

I like this coffee a lot. It's a very good blend which is ideal for preparation in a mocha pot - excellent in fact. The taste is rich and strong without being too much so. I will be buying it again as it has been quite a while since I actually savoured coffee this nice. I did have to chortle at the printed matter on the side of the can though. The bit about the company being established in 1981 in leafy Russell Square was what did it. I am retired now but used to be a station supervisor at Russell Square underground station and my abiding memory of that vicinity is of the extremely high level of traffic fumes during daytime hours. Still,regardless of that, this is honestly great coffee in my opinion............it is also excellent when prepared in my smaller sized cafetiere.Eamonn

I always use a Moka pot for making coffee, and have had mixed results with different brands. I often buy the Illy Moka blend or Lavazza Crema E Gusto, but I decided to try this instead. I actually prefer the Caffe Tropea to all the others, it’s extremely flavourful and delicious. Bolder and deeper in flavour than Illy. No harshness at all in my experience, when drinking it straight. Also works very nice in cappuccino too.It is however more expensive, so I don’t buy it every time. But it’s worth the price!

Beautiful flavoured coffee with a fresh smell and perfect ground coffee for everyone. The only problem was that once I opened the pack there was no lead in the box. I opened the can and as it came with a seal at first I did not pay any attention to the wrap. Later on the day I realised I could not seal the coffee after I use it so therefore I would have to improvise something that will leave my coffee to last. I've done that. I do recommend the coffee to be purchased.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I bought it because I read a lot of positive feedback.It feels like a nice box filled with a cheap coffee.The aroma, smell, taste of coffee is like buying a cheap coffee in a supermarket.The top of the box is defective. It cannot be closed properly.

We are very picky in our coffee tests but this one was a perfect match. For coffee lovers is highly recommended.Not too strong but enough to give you boost in energy.

Bought this coffee as a replacement for my usual brand, which was unavailable. Given the write up and the very high price I had high expectations. Extremely disappointed. No flavour at all and over roasted. To cap it all, it was ground too course so I had to put it through my own grinder. Won’t bother again.

Doesn't pack the punch of flavour I was looking for. Has quite mild notes, not very strong at all. It's a decent coffee and the tin is nice but I doesn't do the job of walking me up in the morning

Amazing tasting coffee which is strong but smooth and has a lovely taste. Excellent with or without milk
