Do you have to remove tap to get them on

Yes it fits around the tap and the only way is to remove the tap, replace the ring and then plumb it back in

I have a kitchen sink mixer tap so had to take the tap off by turning the water off and removing the compression joints and taking off the retaining plate on the underside of the sink , when the tap was taken off it was easy to fit the Faucet base ring , mine had cracked so had to be replaced, hope this helped

Faucet for shower head holder.

This was a test to install this faucet to a shower holder that looked unfinished without one. It fits and looks perfect against the tiles. I will now order another one for my other shower.

Flimsy and useless for my tap.

I can't believe this was actually manufactured for use under a tap. Surely it is really some sort of shower outlet decorative flange or something ? Repurposed by the seller for taps ? I found it simply didn't provide a solid , secure, base for my taps at all , as I was hoping this would bridge an over-large tap hole in the basin. It is also VERY, very, flimsy , plastic, for such a price. Utterly useless for its claimed purpose.
