Is this kit made for use on fabric, or do I need to purchase the fabric specific kit?

This kit includes water-soluble block printing ink, which will not be washfast on fabric.

Does it work to use the speedball screen printing ink for the block printing?

It works great with the Speedball inks, and also with various acrylic paints. After using my stamps I like to wash them with dish soap and an old toothbrush to keep them from clogging up.

Is the paint waterproof? For fabric

Great question. The ink in this kit is our Water-Soluble Block Printing Ink and therefore would not be suitable for printing on fabric. Speedball does make a line for this purpose, Fabric Block Printing Ink. We also have kit that contains this ink, Speedball Ultimate Block Printing Kit - Amazon ASIN: B00881IUF0.

How do you clean blocks and roller with the water based ink provided? Down the drain?

you may clean the block with house hold dish washing liquid and or a mild soap. The inks included in this kit is water based and non toxic so washing down your drain will be fine.
