Does the job
I ordered a GA bose A30 from Amazon; they sent me a helicopter plug instead. We only had a couple days before a big, long trip, and they had no GA headsets in stock. Replacement wasn't an option. I took a chance on this adapter, and it has worked well so far with about 8 hours air time on it. Good audio & build quality. Reasonably priced.

Works as intended
Professional helicopter pilot using these to run DC One-X’s in club airplane. I like the molded strain relief compared to other manufacturers. Had trouble with it at first until I realized my headset was not fully seated in the adapter. Gotta push pretty good to get it to seat fully. Once I figured that out it’s been flawless.

Worked great with David Clark DC-ONEX helicopter headset
My daughter is a helicopter pilot - I'm a fixed wing GA pilot (Cessnas primarily). Took her and then her sister on hour long flights using the adaptor for my daughter's helicopter headset. Worked great! Couldn't test the microphone because there was only one comm switch in the plane, but the intercom worked very well.

Didn't work
Heavy static and lots of high pitch tones bleeding through. Couldn't use in flight.

Using them for a Cessna 172
Turned my helicopter headset into a great Cessna flying headset. Had to run the male end into the female end several time for it to make a clear connection but it’s been working great the last several flights.

Receive but no transmit
I bought a headset from a helicopter and bought this to use in a Cessna. I could hear on the intercom fine but my CFI couldn’t hear me. I ended up borrowing one from the flight school. I tried reseating all the plugs which made no difference. UPDATE: in doing some research, I found that you need a different adapter if you have a military headset as I do. I'm sure this item would work fine on non-military equipment.

They work
I’ve had this for a couple weeks with about 30 hours of use. The connections all fit well and I’ve had no issues. Would buy again.
