Feel the action. Power, sensitivity, and hawg-specific action combine to make the Fenwick Elite Tech Bass Spinning Rod one of the best in bass fishing. In 1976, Fenwick developed the world's first technique-specific bass rod, the Flippin' Stik, changing bass fishing forever. Decades later, Fenwick has perfected bass actions for all modern day bass techniques. The Elite Tech Bass Rod is one of the lightest, most comfortable series of poles ever created. Hidden Handle design is different from traditional reel seats and provides a "don't feel the threads" comfort. Every action is designed to give anglers a precise balance of power and sensitivity. Titanium frame guides are extremely lightweight and are virtually bulletproof; EVA and TAC handle design provides a solid grip even when the handle becomes wet; Perfected actions designed specifically for bass fishing; Hidden Handle Design reel seat allows function and comfort to co-exist. Extreme comfort; not seen on the market today. Don't "feel the threads" of traditional reel seats; MODEL #: ETB70M-FS: Type: Bass; Length: 7'; Pieces: 1; Blank: Graphite; Power: Medium; Action: Fast; Grip: TAC/EVA; Guides: 8; Line Rating: 6-12 lbs.; Lure Rating: 1/8-3/4; MODEL #: ETB70MH-FS: Type: Bass; Length: 7'1"; Pieces: 1; Blank: Graphite; Power: Medium Heavy; Action: Fast; Grip: TAC/EVA; Guides: 8; Line Rating: 10-17 lbs.; Lure Rating: 1/4-3/4; MODEL #: ETB74M-XFS: Type: Bass; Length: 7'4"; Pieces: 1; Blank: Graphite; Power: Medium; Action: Extra Fast; Grip: TAC/EVA; Guides: 9; Line Rating: 6-12 lbs.; Lure Rating: 1/4-3/4; MODEL #: ETB610ML-XFS: Type: Bass; Length: 6'9"; Pieces: 1; Blank: Graphite; Power: Medium Light; Action: Extra Fast; Grip: TAC/EVA; Guides: 8; Line Rating: 4-10 abs.; Lure Rating: 1/8-5/8; MODEL #: ETB69M-MFS: Type: Bass; Length: 6'9"; Pieces: 1; Blank: Graphite; Power: Medium; Action: Moderate Fast; Grip: TAC/EVA; Guides: 8; Line Rating: 6-12 lbs.; Lure Rating: 1/8-3/4;

Great light and very, very sensitive rod - I can feel every bit of structure and bottom. I use it as my drop shot rig paired with a Shimano Stradic Ci4+ 2500.

Used rod once last year with no issues. Son used it today and got snagged on rock, and rod snapped mid center with a mild tug to free snag. Rod must be defective. Will look into any warranty.

One of the best and value priced.
Bass fishing is one of the most popular sports for outdoorsmen. The market is full of bass fishing rods of various sizes, materials and price range.I have been a fan of Fenwick rods for decades. The Elite Tech series is their latest iteration with their Hidden Handle Design and TAC Handle - mixture of cork and rubberized cork material - which seats the reel firmly while providing a comfortable and secure grip, even when wet.The rod is rated as medium-heavy with a fast taper and has titanium frame guides. Its range is 10-17 lb test line with ¼ to ¾ lures.I paired the rod with a Mitchell 300 PRO spinner, using a generic braided line 8 lb test line and alternated between a “Storm WildEye Live” and a “Goby Rapala X Rap Pop” lure. With each lure I got several hits, with bass from 2.5 to 6 lbs. All were released.The taper was sensitive and fast while the backbone was rigid and strong enough to guide/pull the fish from fast current and swirls.The Fenwick Elite Tech Bass Fishing Spinning Rod is at the mid price range but at the top of quality and value. I like it and recommend it
