I picked up the SR3100 DSM2 Surface Receiver as a budget-friendly alternative to the Spektrum version, and I’m honestly blown away by how well it performs. It binds quickly with my DX3 and DX5C transmitters, has solid range, and hasn’t given me a single issue in terms of signal dropouts or interference. It functions just as reliably as the name-brand Spektrum receiver but at a much lower price point—seriously, it’s a no-brainer if you’re looking to save without sacrificing performance. I’ve now installed these in a couple of my RC vehicles and they’ve all run flawlessly. If they ever release a version of this receiver with AVC (Active Vehicle Control) built in, I’d pick it up in a heartbeat. That’s the only feature missing—but for the price, this thing is a steal. Highly recommend!

I have this on my scx24 using my Spektrum DX4C remote so I can now use the same remote for all my cars. Some reviews were saying it's a clone? Mine came in with spektrum packaging and stickers so I'm not sure if it's like a luck of the draw if you get a clone or not.

Looks like spektrum. (As picture shows) I have had clones in the past, I think these are legit. I have the new IXSR spektrum surface radio and have been having issues with binding other rx This one binded no issues. Bought more!

Works great with my DX5C. Had to try a few times but it worked. Great for the price.
