Holds my iPad with thick case
I was looking for a stand that would hold my iPad and my laptop while I do online workout classes from home. I apologize my pictures will not load correctly but I wanted to show that this stand meets my needs for both my laptop and iPad. My iPad also has a thick rubber case and the stand holds it well without having to take the case off which was important for me. I also like the variety of heights you can have with this tripod. The only complaint I have is that the thing that hold the iPad or laptop does not clip into place so I have to make sure as I adjust that it is placed properly so it doesn’t slide out and fall

Quick to setup and easy to use
If you’ve used a similar type of tripod for any camera then this will be very quick to setup. Without even looking at the directions I was able to start using this right away. The only thing I would like to see them change is the legs, they start too low to the ground. If they legs started up a bit higher and spread out a bit wider, the stand would be, and feel, sturdier. As it is now, I was a little worried that someone accidentally bumping the iPad would send the stand crashing down. I had to keep it away from where people or animals would be walking for fear of this.

Just what I needed
I use my iPad to make a lot of short, silly (hopefully funny) videos that I post on various social media platforms. As the "star" of these things, I had to conscript my long-suffering family members to shoot various scenes or prop up my iPad in precarious positions to get the shots. I knew there were tripods that worked with tablets, but I never wanted to spend the money. Now, I wish I did it sooner. I've made several videos with it so far and it's SO much easier than what I was doing before. I can get the shots I need without bothering anybody or worrying that my iPad is going to fall off the seven boxes I stacked up to get it to the right height. In terms of quality and craftsmanship, it's perfectly adequate. Which is why I titled this review "Just what I needed." That's what it is. It works and if I take care of it, it seems like it'll continue to work. I'm not blown away by the quality or sturdiness but it was inexpensive and that's what I was looking for.So, yeah. If you're in a similar situation, I say go for it. I'm very pleased that I finally bought this!

Very convenient, useful, and easy to use.
Writing a review because my wife likes this so much. We got it so the kids could watch soccer classes over zoom in the basement while following along. Also good for holding the ipad to shoot video of the kids while doing soccer, which they get a kick out of. But then we found that it also works like a stand so you can sit on the couch and have this hold the ipad while you watch movies or whatever. The only unfortunate thing is that, at least for the cases we have, we had to remove the case to get the ipad into the tripod. It is really easy to operate, though.

Artist standing Easel for iPad Air
UPDATE: Ok, the wobble/short legs issue was my fault.... due to lack of instructions. The legs do extend as well. I did not notice this at 1st. So, what I thought were very short legs causing bad wobble and instability has mostly been resolved by extending the legs. Now it only wobbles slightly but is much better than before.I 1st had issue's because once again China generic stuff with very little to no instructions...or instructions that are written by idiots who can't seem to translate well to other languages. This product had NO instructions. But I figured it out as it's not to difficult. Most of the poles go in only one way so that helps. Suggest starting at bottom and connecting upwards.2 issues'.....1. The stand is not stable. It does wobble a bit. Fine if you are not touching it but I am using this as a standing art stand. So I can do digital art standing up. It works fine with slight wobble if i "pock" the screen while drawing but in no way do I feel comfortable really making strong strokes "with pen/brush". I need to find some way to stabilize this. The 3 "legs" are just too short. If I can find a way to stabilize then I would say this product is very nice.2. This is my fault, I had at 1st, issues with getting the iPad to sit right in the holder without sliding out...I was mystified why it would not hold as the rubber is quite adequate as well as the spring loader is strong. I discoverer (again instructions or lack of is agh!) that I was angling the iPad (Air) wrong. I'm use to these spring-loaded things to hold the sides of the iPads/phones. This one actually is much better and holds it in a sort of V shaped grip on the rubber parts. So the iPad actually held diagonally. The rubber on each side holds the corners of the iPad. NOT the sides. And IMPORTANT...make sure you do not use the corner where the "on/scanner" button is located!! Once in it fits well and tight. Great hold.So all in all its a fine product with 1 issue (wobbly). Works perfect if on solid flat floor...don't think this would work in grass or inclines at all. And Like I use it for, not good (or very cautiously) if using strong brush strokes. light pokes seem fine.

Great Tripod !!
This tripod is perfect for my needs. It's easy to set up. I can't wait to start using it!It's easy to use and feels of high quality. Especially in terms of price, if you need a tripod for your mobile phone, I suggest you do so,We set this in the background of my husband's party photo so everyone can use it. No problem, the remote control allows everyone to appear in the picture at the same time. I highly recommend this!

Great Product...Only One Recommendation:
This product is sturdy and great for hands-off video- taping. It would be great to have the option to lock the iPad in landscape mode with support on top and bottom as opposed to the opposite horizontal ends...it would allow for a straighter video. Also, the swivel that locks the iPad in place could use more angle rotation and one that can hold the iPad Pro 12.9 without it dropping to a lower angle because of its weight.
