I'm so glad I purchased this. I have low porosity hair. Which means it's EXTREMELY difficult to get moisture into my hair follicles. Normally hair products just sit on my hair stands never getting absorbed. With this heat cap this may be the first time in a longgggg time my hair has retained moisture. My hair felt soft and happy... lol! I believe the instructions say heat in microwave for 85 seconds. I had actually zapped it twice to get the heat I desired. The heat cap stayed hot at least 25 minutes. Which was just enough to make my hair feel soft like cotton. Also, almost forgot 10 clear plastic caps are included to wear under the heat cap.

I like it. Stays warm. Only wish it was bigger. But overall a good product for your money.

Microwave it for 70-85 seconds, apply hair treatment, put on a disposable shower cap as liner to protect the fabric, then wear the heat cap. With this cordless heat cap on, I don't have to wait and am free to move around while conditioning my hair.When laid flat, the heat cap measures 10.25" wide with a 4.25"-wide opening and 1" rubber band. It weighs 435 grams.

This is a great heat cap to heat the hair for hair treatment. After warming it up for about 70 seconds in the microwave oven, the cap retained the heat for 15 minutes, so the heat lasts a long time. It is easy to re-heat the cap if longer heat treatment is needed. The cap fits well.

My daughter loves this. Keeps her from having to be attached to the hairdryer. She can sit wherever and use her tablet then take it off and rinse her treatments out. She is thrilled.

I really regret this purchase. I should have tried and returned it earlier.The stuff inside the cap doesn’t get warm enough in microwave, while some parts gets burned and peels off. It smells burnt too. I do not recommend it at all.
