I purchased this as part of my recovery after a total knee replacement surgery 3/months ago. It’s been a god send, being in my kitchen means I can just get on it and cycle for 10 mins whenever I want to. At first I just got used to rotating the peddles, after a week or so I was able to add a little resistance by tightening up the wheel on the back. There is a little bit of noise but there is going to be as the bike wheel goes against the shaft.For a mid range product I would highly recommend this item.

Quality good. Instructions clear and easy to build. Only the noise level in use is distracting.

I debated buying this trainer versus those more expensive trainers on the market and have very glad that I settled on this!Arrival time was quick. I was initially worried I'd spend loads of time assembling the product, but the Sportneer Fluid arrived almost fully assembled in a brown box. It was packaged very well to protect from damage in transit. Only five minutes to attach the resistance wheel to the stand (one bolt) and it was ready to go.Everything you need to get going is in the box, the unit, the wheel block and the skewer. Easy-peasy replacing the skewer and hooking bike into the trainer stand.It is a very sturdy piece of kit and the noise slightly louder than a low hum when exercising. To give you an idea, I was able to watch tele at mildly above normal volume for an hour while working out.Dismounting the bike is as easy as mounting and the stand folds up neatly for under stairs storage.If you are in the market for a fluid trainer, look no further. Safe a few quid. The Sportneer Fluid is a good purchase!

With the weather changing I believed this would be a good investment and I was not wrong. A great buy as for the noise it is not that bad, but maybe if you are using mountain bike style tyres? Well impressed it will keep me training through the winter.

This was very easy to assemble, is very stable and feels really good quality. Ideal if the weather is not good or, like me, want to improve my fitness levels

Noisy, and won't hold bike level and will eventually pull out of the holding pegs. Twice in 2 day with me. Don't waste your money.And arrived damaged.

The trainer is quite good overall, especially given I only paid £99.It appears to me this is a copy of other liquid trainers. There are many of same spec and appearance but prices vary alot so be aware before parting with too much money for the same type.I had to take off my knobbly treaded 29er x 2.2 tyre and put on a slick non-treaded tyre to my rear wheel to stop the horrendous noise and vibration during operation. This has now silenced the trainer and made my cycle session relaxed.I would advise users not to pedal with such vibrations going through handlebars in case of causing nerve damage to hands. Please convert your tyres to a less deeper tread type or no tread at all.Else, the trainer is good value for money overall. I've no idea how long it will last but so far it serves my purposes.I've ordered a rear wheel speed sensor in order to use a virtual cycling app which I'll run on my tablet device sitting in front of me while I train indoors.I've. also put a large screen TV in front of my bike and streamed indoor cycling videos from You Tube via a Chromecast device. A very surreal experience feeling I'm cycling along a road with some stunning scenery even though my bike never actually leaves the garage.

I am genuinely blown away by this trainer. Goes together really well, very sturdy and yes, actually feels like cycling on the road. Well recommended.

Assembly was straightforward and it's pretty hefty and durable. We put our Trek hybrid bikes on it, one with standard caliper brakes and the other with disk brakes. We have one stand trainer that integrates with apps, but sometimes it's simpler to just use this one and go at our own pace. It's very easy to switch between the two. There was plenty of clearance from the rear tire to the floor and dialing in the resistance wheel onto the tire was easy.At first, you think there's just not enough resistance, but in the right gear and after about 10 or 15 minutes, you'll start feeling the burn. Overall, it's simple and effective with a solid construction with easy to use features.

Overall rating based on the price point; at the < $175 this is a solid choice for a fluid indoor bike trainer. There are much better fluid trainers on the market, but at this price point this is a good quality trainer. If you find it on sale that is a bonus.Despite the sparse assemble directions, it goes together smoothly and you can be riding quickly after unpacking. The front legs cannot be fully extended to the locked position if you have a 29"-er, but it still rides steady, and it is stable getting on and off. If you over extend the legs the 29" wheel will hit the mat and you will grind down your tire and hear much more noise. For 26", 27.5" and 700's the fully extended legs should not be an issue. (It works fine for 29"-ers, just check your tire clearance regularly if it is placed on a soft mat). I wanted the ability to 'grind' at a steady pace and this works perfectly to add some resistance for a long steady pace. It is not silent, but not disturbingly loud -- I measured the sound at ~73 db on my Apple Watch running at about 70 rpm. That is equivalent to a vacuum cleaner, and that sounds about right.Edit: Some additional information about the noise level - the tire I am using is a knobby all-terrain tire so that adds to the noise level. A smooth tread tire will be quieter.

Buon prodotto, struttura molto robusta e la bici non oscilla durante l'utilizzo. Molto silenzioso, i rumori che si avvertono provengono dagli organi di trasmissione della bici e pneumatico. Avrei gradito più resistenza durante la pedalata indifferentemente dal rapporto utilizzato per rendere lo sforzo simile all'uso in strada.

First off, the Chinglish assembly instructions are next to worthless. However, it is easy to figure out and setup for use.It is a very sturdy unit. Good quality materials and quality assembly.I am glad I got the fluid/oil based one for a little more money than the magnetic one. It is smooth and even running with almost no jerkiness.Noise wise it is pretty good. It makes a pretty good whirring noise (at least with my touring tires) but not super noisy. I would estimate about half as loud as my treadmill. Putting a training tire on would probably quite it further.The resistance adjustment seems to work well. I run the bike mostly on the middle ring, high gear. There is plenty more adjustment both on the bike and on the unit to make it way harder.Overall, pretty pleased with it. Sometimes wish I had of sprung for one that could hook up to show you speed, distance, etc.. but they were a lot more money. This one is great value for what it is.
