I paid 200 dollars at my dentist for a custom bite guard for my tmj. It hurt more to use it then to just deal with the pain. I ended up tossing the super expensive guard and tried this product on a whim. I am so happy with it! It was very easy to use and really molded to my teeth and bite. It's super comfortable to sleep with.

My doctor always suggests me wearing a mouth guard to protect my teeth.This mouth guard shaped easily. Just warm water in the microwave, drop the guard in and let it sit a minute. Then pop mouth guard in your mouth, bite down gently and hold until it cools. I usually repeat this one more time for a perfect fit.Here are some tips that I learned about mouth guards:• One of reasons why people grind at night is because of stress.• Don’t let the water get too hot, otherwise it will melt the plastic permanently.• Don't give up if you have trouble falling asleep with mouth guard. After two or more weeks, it’ll become a habit and you’ll get used to it.• Wear mouth guard consistently. It’ll become less like a chore, like brushing your teeth every night.• Make sure to brush and clean mouth guard after use, and it will prevent debris and bacteria from building up.

I am a real customer and not a plant reviewer. I have terrible TMJ and serious other painful mouth problems. And my mouth is fairly small. I cannot afford a mouthguard and my teeth can't handle a hard one either. I have searched and tried ones on Amazon that you had to send back the impressions and those were all just okay for me. But this one I tried out of sheer prayer that it would work. Well, this exceeded my expectations, was so easy to dip in the hot water and mold in my mouth and was small enough that I didn't even have to trim it up. I literally did it in less than 30 seconds after taking the hot water out of the microwave. What a relief being able to sleep in comfort all night long. This one gets 5 stars from a very picky lady.

I purchased these after my annual visit to the dentist and they told me I must have been grinding my teeth for years. We talked about a guard which my lousy dental plan does not cover. Their price was outrageous! So, I procrastinated for several months until I started searching on Amazon. When I received them, I felt intimidated by the directions since I had never used anything like these before. Well, I followed the directions, and they are perfect. Find the size that fits best, put them in the hot water, and drop them in. So easy, I even wear one during the day sometimes. I'm thinking these will last at least 6 months! Such a bargain for the quality.

I had a hard time with the first guard. It melted to itself. I boiled the water on a cup in the microwave. So that one was a waste. I couldn’t unstick it. So I had to use another one. That one worked properly. I’ve never used a mouth guard before. I’ve been clenching my teeth and even broke a crown in my sleep. I was concerned about it being uncomfortable and waking me up. However I wake up with no jaw pain, headaches, and a bitten tongue. Very comfortable and I sleep so much better!!!
