I have a minisplit Air conditioning unit that i installed to replace a broken wall mounted air conditioning unit. once i got the hole in the wall patched up and got the mini split mounted up i had to get power to it somehow.I had a outlet from where the wall mounted unit was and it was the correct voltage and amperage for the mini split.I terminated the and of the minisplit's power cable in one of these plugs and just plugged it in.makes it easy if I ever need to remove the minisplit for maintenance.

Plug is very high quality but be aware it is 180 degree opposite from the tesla charger 240v 20 amp plug.I was making up an extension cord to use in case I had to park on street and wanted to charge from my exterior outlet, it is awkward at best. I changed to a straight plug which allowed the cover to at least partially close.

The plug is made with very thin grade plastic. Since this is a 20A plug, I used 12GA cable, and the plastic crack while I was tightening, Not even able to close the plug before it cracked. I didn't use this plug, I went and purchase new ones that is more heavier duty since I didn't want to get killed.

Exactly as described and reasonably close fitting to the wall, allowing the cord to just drape straight down (if necessary, flip receptacle mounting in box)
