Best thing I've bought in forever. Most of the time I keep mine clipped on my desk next to the computer (I used to always knock if off into the floor :S) and it has saved my phone I think haha. Anytime I go to someones house I bring it with me, everyone always laughs at me and then they come and play with it and decide they want one. It's awesome if you want to record or watch a video on your phone as well. I take it to work too sometimes, I'm going to buy 8 more XD. It's very durable, I've had mine for months now and it is still perfect (and as you can tell I use it everyday). I had no trouble putting it together, you literally just pop it together, it's strong, it can take it, believe me.

Happy overall, though this is my first holder of this type and I'm not sure what else is out there. Thoughts so far 1) holder-clamp is well constructed- confident the spring will hold up to repeated clampings without giving out. Holds my iPhone 6s securely 2) the neck is more of a sturdy twisty-tie material than what I've seen in other "gooseneck" devices. Sturdy, but requires a bit of elbow grease to bend - plastic base makes cracking noise when bending- a little concerned about breakage, but no issues yet 3) base clamp holds very well and without marring my nightstand, but locking mechanism seems a little flimsy - seems like it could be prone to breakage with repeated clampings.

I ordered this after seeing it only had 5 star reviews (at the time I ordered it) . I have an iphone 6 with a caseology case and it holds my phone perfectly. I'm sure it would also hold a phone that is wider just fine. My only complaint is the place that holds your phone is very thin and I have had a piece break off but it wasn't an important part- so please be a bit careful with it. The damage was my fault- I stepped on it. I was also a bit confused when I first got it as there are no instructions on how to get it to actually attach to things, but its pretty easy to figure out after playing with it for a bit.Also I ordered it in white but it came in pink and it's not that great looking- but i'm the only one who's ever going to see it so its not that big of a deal.

This a great stand/tripod, I've been through several and this is the most useful I've found. I love that it can be extended out , and also bends to get really close when you need it. It clips securely to my work desk and I used to take pictures of my art to post online. You can turn the phone to face any direction and adjust it to pretty much any position you might need. I highly recommend it.

This is by far the worse product I have bought from Amazon, the clip is supposed to rotate 360 but maybe with out the phone because at the lightest touch my phone stays but the piece that rotates it comes off every time, I hope I don't break my phone because I pretty sure they won't take responsibility for the poor, very poor quality

This is a handy little tool! The clamp is very stable (much more so than another one I have with a standard clip). There is a plastic knob that is part of the clamping mechanism. If you move the holder around too much, the knob may break. That's what happened to the first one I bought (within about 3 weeks of purchase). But Amazon replaced it.

Cheaply made. The most important part is the clip to secure it to a surface and it's made out of flimsy cheap plastic and won't hold the weight of the device. Also won't work well for larger cell phones. Very disappointed.
