This is a great mouse; it feels great in the hand, and just looks really cool. The resolution indicitaor lights on top look cool, and the flowing multicolor lightbars on the bottom look really slick as well. The thumbstick on top is especially nice, and is really great for easily adjusting the map in RTS and tactical wargames (such as BattleTech, which I play A LOT.) The bottom two thumb buttons are placed just a bit too far forward and can be a little hard to reach, but that will depend on the angle of your arm and how you hold the mouse (they would be much better if they were positioned just a bit further back, closer to the palm.)I got this mouse because about two months ago I suddenly developed a really bad case of tendonitis in the middle two fingers of my mouse hand, to the point that my finger knuckle went *CLUNK* every time I bent my finger, and eventually I couldn't even close my fist. I had seen upright ergonomic mice like this before and thought they looked cool but I never had a reason to justify the cost of buying one before, but when I developed the tendonitis I decided I'd give one a try to see if it helped. And thankfully after starting to use this mouse instead it cleared up after a few weeks.I had initially worried that it would be hard to get accustomed to this new style of mouse with my hand in a different position, but I quickly realized that it was actually easier for me and gave me even more control than with a standard mouse; the position of your hand on the mouse allows you to rest the heel of your palm on the mousepad, allowing you fine precision control over the movement of the mouse. You just need to make sure that your mousepad has a surface that isn't too slick or the mouse can slide all over the place the moment you take your hand off it.I only wish it was wireless, since I use a laptop that I literally sit on my lap and the cable can get in the way, but that isn't any kind of complaint against this mouse in particular; the cable is actually really nice and coated in a woven fabric material that keeps it from getting all tangled and knotted up.Overall it's a really nice mouse, and I consider it well worth the price.

The media could not be loaded. This Zelotes vertical mouse is 4.5” long, 3.25” high, 3” wide. It has a colorful light strip at the bottom when active and comes with preset function defaults. It is advertised to have 11 programmable settings, but it is really 9 since most people will maintain the left-click and right-click button defaults. It comes with a Zelotes CD that allows you to customize each function.I have a small hand (3.25” inch from bottom of thumb to bottom of palm) with thick, stubby fingers so this mouse felt extremely comfortable compared to other vertical mice I had previously used. I liked the fact that the joystick was easily accessible and could serve as 5 functions. My fat thumb found it easier to utilize the joystick with better accuracy than other mice that have a number “keypad” on the left side of the mouse. All of the functions were easy to activate except for the “forward button” which I have to stretch my thumb to reach. The vertical mouse construction is easier on my wrist compared to the traditional mouse. I ended up with two of these in my cart by accident, but for once, I'm not mad. In fact, for such a different-feeling peripheral as I'm used to (been utilizing very high DPI precision mice and trackballs both on the same desk for decades for graphical and CAD work) this vertical sort is incredibly intuitive. I may install the software for customized button presses, but it worked out of the box on the somewhat ancient Win10. Durability is a bit unknown as I just got it this morning, but it feels smooth and precise, which is something I look for when selecting individual polygons for instance on multi-million poly models. It even glides nicely and seems to fit my much larger than average hand, feels just about right for weight (a little heavier or a weight-added model would be supreme!), and the cord length was even great; I don't much care for the RGB, but its not terrible and relatively sedate.

This is a fantastic mouse. I bought it because it was ergonomic and overall that has been the biggest benefit. The buttons are placed inappropriate areas that make them easy to use and it's taking a lot of strain off my wrist.The joystick on top is interesting but it is WASD. If you're planning on using it for gaming you could but I would actually recommend using it for things like crouching jumping switching weapons etc.Overall like I said the joystick is cool but the main reason I bought it was because of the reduced stress on my wrist and that benefit far outweighs everything else. Fantastic design.
