We wore them during our weeklong fishing trip near the Canadian border. Very comfortable and didn’t make you sweaty or bulky.

Bought these for kayaking and they are much cooler and more comfy than full vests. They do have Coast Guard approval which is IMPORTANT to us for praying they work if needed to! The pull cord is very close to the buckle on the right side so be cautious when putting it on! These were more cost effective than others and had good reviews. I like the pink color so no one of the guys should steal mine 😂. They make kayaking so much more comfy with the thinner format compared to bulky vests.

For anyone who is completely new to these type of life vests… (like us) my wife is an entry-level swimmer at best. We just took delivery of a new Sea Hunt 234 Ultra and I obviously want to keep her safe. So I bought the Onyx A/M 24 for her , And I wanted to let her “experience” the life vest deploying if it ever happens. Went to our pool, and had her jump in (as seen in video) It was a great experience to allow her to see what it would be like “if” it ever happened out on our waters in SW Florida. Once she jumped in. The Onyx 24 inflated in less than 2-seconds and it very safely and comfortable kept her afloat. Will be buying the re-arm kit, and very happy to have this “safety measure” on our boat for the times we are underway for long and fast voyages.

Pricey, but a little better priced than I can find locally at retail stores. Lightweight, unobtrusive comfortable fit.

One of the best pfds for fishing as its very minimal in my way. I use a kayak where I keep my pfd on all the time. This fits very comfortably pricey but so glad I bought it worth the cost.

Comfortable & comforting to wear while boating. I'm not a swimmer, so when fishing with family, it gives peace of mind to me & my family. I had no desire to have to wear one of those bulky PFD's while trying to cast. This fills the bill. Automatic deployment without action on my part. Video tests show this vest to turn you face up in case of being knocked unconscious & landing in the water. Not the case with some of the other types of PFD'S. Well built & allows good ventilation, so no sweating issue! Should the vest deploy, it's easily recharged with a readily available kit that includes all necessary parts & instructions.

I’m finally making a review.. light weight, easy to wear and I’m 5ft 2 190 pounds. If you fall in the water this will deploy. It was a bit of surprise. Also… to replace the cartridge is a KIT!!! So get 2 extras

Thin, light and unobtrusive. I use it for kayaking and it’s great. Never tested it, I just hope it works when needed.

Purchased in early spring. Light weight, doesn’t feel like I’m wearing a PFD. Exactly what I was hoping for. Luckily, I haven’t “used” it yet, and hopefully I never will. But I feel at ease when wearing it.

Husband is a pilot and uses these for his cross-country trips over the water in British Columbia. He says they are comfortable to wear and perfect for the purpose.
