Make Your Own Dog Treats

The kit is very kids friendly and my daughter loves making treats for her puppy

Bought this for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it, and has been busy baking treats for our dog. And even better- our dog loves the treats she makes from these recipes!While the biggest benefit to this kit is the recipe book with instructions for biscuits, cupcakes and frosting, it also includes the cookie cutters, spatula, stamp, and some cute packaging for gifting the treats. At least half of the contents of the kit seem to be the gift bags, ribbons, and tags for packaging the treats.The kit doesn’t include any ingredients to make the treats. Mostly things like corn meal, whole wheat flour, baking powder, olive oil, peanut butter, beef broth, yogurt, cream cheese, honey. But some recipes require more specialized ingredients likes wheat germ, molasses, dried fruit or herbs.Overall, it’s great and provides exactly what I was hoping for: an opportunity and instructions for my daughter to practice baking (which she loves) for her dog (whom she loves), and to put that special touch and energy into it (with the gift packaging) that allows her to be creative and generous.

Great idea, but I wish that some of the non-perishable ingredients to get started making a treat were included with the kit (e.g. cornmeal, wheat flour, etc...). A little pricey just for what you get.

A fun idea if you're looking for something to do and I'm sure the dogs enjoyed it too! Gives a variety of recipes - easy to follow instructions and lists of ingredients needed.

This should come with ingredients for the price you pay for a spatula and cookie cutter.
