i bought this book as a text book, but now i love it as so much more than that. i've loved elizabeth i since i was in 10th grade. she is a fascinating character from an even more fascinating time. in this book, hear her own voice as well as the voices of many writing while she was alive, about her character/dress/pageantry/relationships/politiics, etc.

Wonderful anthology that collects all kinds of Elizabethean works surrounding the Queen herself. Her and works about her verge on a cult-like image that is well portrayed in this anthology.

The product came as stated. It's handy and excellent source for papers or essays at the college level. I recommend this resource.

A wonderful book on a very complex queen!

I used this for a class on Elizabeth and just loved going through it. The anthology contains both her writings and speeches, as well as contemporary plays, pamphlets, and speeches related to her reign, and modern essays. Indispensable if you love Elizabeth or the Renaissance period in general.

Excellent quality book and lovely font and page colour. Also a lovely size. I must admit it wasn't painful to read, but to be completely frank, who would ever want to read this unless it was compulsory reading? Literally no one cares.
